“We'd arrived at Kelly's a few minutes before 9PM and were thrilled they still bought us in and served a fantastic dinner even though they were about to close! Only in New Jersey would people do this for you! Our server, Shana, was absolutely delightful! She made a great recommendation for the Philly Cheese Steak. We are from Kentucky so this was a special treat, being away from Philly for over a decade. The chowders are exquisite and the breakfasts are done to perfection. You will get a real flavor for the Barnegat Light House at Kelly's and the view is divine. Don't let the outside fool you - this place shines brighter than the lighthouse! 10+ across the board - thank you for helping 2 Kentuckians (after a 15 hour drive) feel welcome and at home. “Best diner I've ever been to. Everything is consistently incredible (you don't get featured on food network or win a James Beard award if it's not). Staff are great! Breakfast must dos: omelettes, pancakes, French toast, chipped beef. Lunch: tuna melt on a bagel, turkey club, Reuben... Literally anything, order anything.”

“Off the Hook just catered my wedding and while I hate doing the online review stuff just have to take a moment and affirm that Kris and her team is top notch in all aspects. They are attentive, caring, diligent and wonderful in every way. They went above and beyond the call of duty at every step to ensure the event was amazing from setup, service to stepping up to clean things that were not their responsibility. I am forever grateful to have had them part of my day. Oh and PS, the food was amazing from sliced tuna, sushi, raw bar, scallops, steak.. you name it!”

“Excellent food- The BEST onion soup & garlic bread I've ever had! Went twice over 10 days & the food & service were outstanding both visits. The Burgers are great (had the K burger on my first visit), & had a succulent duck with blackberry glaze special one night that was out of this world & the mashed potatoes are awesome. Others in my party had the crab dip which was termed "excellent", vodka sauce pasta, a supper steak special & the scallops. All were very pleased with everything ordered. Highly recommend Kubel's if you are on the island!”
