“We visited Avenue on a quiet Friday night. Seating indoors and at the bar was plentiful, but outdoor seating required a reservation. There’s a large patio in the back of the restaurant with two fire pits and a mural on one wall. Menu is diverse and would appeal to a variety of tastes. Our five-top started with crab dip and baked Brie. Starters came out quickly and were tasty. I ordered the ten spice tuna as my main. For being named “ten spice,” seasoning seemed to be lacking on all elements of the dish. The fish, however, was cooked properly. Service was attentive. Prices are reasonable. There’s a large municipal parking lot behind the restaurant, which is helpful, since parking on Bloomfield Ave is usually sparse.”

“I love this place, go at least once a week for lunch takeout, 3 rolls for $12 is a great deal. I have gone twice now for all you can eat, it takes a bit for the sushi to come out, but its well worth it, the sushi is fresh and delicious. Both times we did all you can eat, we ordered a lot on the first order, to avoid having to put multiple orders in. I have heard from others that after the first plate, the portions get smaller, the sushi has more rice and it takes much longer for the food to come out. But for me, this is perfect. We order right the first time, so we're full and order appropriately to avoid the surcharge for leftovers. $22.95 is a bargain!!”

“My son is 4 and he only like pizza from this place. I once got it from another pizza place in Verona and he did not like it (kids don't lie). I usually get the Spinach Artichoke Pizza, which is out of this world. Ordered chicken wings once, but not a big fan. Very friendly staff and the best pizza in Verona (if you compare it to other pizza places in the area).”

“I don't drink coffee so I rarely go to DD. Sometimes I wonder in for a sweet treat and they have stepped up their donut game. Got a donut for myself and a friend they were decorated quite beautifully, one like a bee and the other a ladybug. The frozen lemonade is delicious and has a pretty authentic lemon taste to it. (took it home threw in some Tito's vodka and called it a day, Yum!)”
