“The staff at CCC are very diverse. I graduated 10 years ago and I had my share of the terrible professors and some excellent ones. My main gripe is the financial aid office. I don't know how many times I had to go there and whatever I went there for didnt get fixed. Each person does their own thing and they don't run it by the others. The library is large and the staff are very informative. They'll help you locate what your looking for. There is a computer lab that has long hours to assist students that need to write up papers or just check an email. The student staff can help you with a program if you ask. Just make sure to sign in. Kevin McGarvey is an amazing English professor. I worked alongside with Bernie Castro and he is the one to ask about IT (I learned a lot from him). I know Frank Phillips is no longer staff here as he's retired but he was one of the best professors there is. With that being said, one of my professors was arrested. So, they can be hit or miss. When you truly value your education you'll work extra hard for what you want. Don't let others deter your dreams.”
