“This was one of my wife’s favorite places when she lived in Omaha. We visited recently and had breakfast. The pastries looked amazing, and her Carmel roll was really good. She did mention that it used to have a lot more Carmel on it. She had the ham steak and poached eggs. I had the country fried steak. I loved that they had biscuits with it and gravy. There was a pretty decent crowd on a Saturday morning. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. We did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews about customer service.”

If you bring something in that doesn't meet a public worthy showcase standard, you might be told just that, versus having it printed simply to keep the customer happy. But if it doesn't look good and you're open to honest feedback, their team will make it look GREAT! They provide the feedback I need to keep MY current and prospective customers engaged. “Wow, wow, and wow! Baker's Candies was a Nebraska Passport fan favorite stop, and not having been there before myself, now I know why?! It's a good thing I live so far away, or I would put on 50 pounds quickly. They are very liberal with their samples, and I was happy to experiment. We stocked up on some obscure bottled sodas too, but the really good stuff is in the case to the right when you come in the door. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. What a great little candy oasis this place is!”
