“So glad I found this cute bakery during my one-night stay in St. Charles. Best quiche I’ve had in my life - fluffy eggs, flaky crust, delicious all over. Went well with my cortado. The crowd was thinning out on a Friday in the late morning to early afternoon, so I didn’t feel too bad taking up a spot while doing work on my computer. The owner and staff were really nice about it, too. Wish I could find a cafe like this back home.”

“I'm in HVAC and I give people my personal suggestions all the time. Some think it over, but some have so much trust in me that they say "Do what you think needs to be done" without even thinking. I've never had that feeling myself until I told Kevin "I want a good semi auto pocket gun" He told be to buy the Khar 380 without hesitation. I've never heard of this gun nor handled it. I automatically bought it because that's how much I trusted him and his knowledge of firearms. He wasn't wrong not even in the slightest. I love this firearm and Kevin's professional knowledge helped me find it. Great prices, cool weird and old off the wall stuff (my personal favorite) and super nice people! “I love this apartment complex. It hasn't been perfect but it really has been an amazing experience. It's safe, so so quiet which I loved up until recently I've gotten some noisier neighbors around me lately and there are times when I can hear their music or kids, or them talking outside of their apartments which is loud because of the echo. I don't have, want, or like kids so it's a little annoying when they're around but I don't hear or see them often, which is great. Everyone has been nice and I don't have people Park in my space very often so that's great! I love where I live and the view from my apartment is great if you're facing the lake. I love seeing the birds out there. In the summer, Air conditioning issues are a problem to fix if it goes out but otherwise, all of my appliances and hot water and stuff works well.”

I won’t lie, there are many times that I still feel insecure about what I can’t do YET but I’ve come so far from where I was that I don’t want to stop. I want to see what I’m made of, what can I accomplish and how good can I feel. Mandy’s motto with me is: take my hand, I’ll lead, you follow until you can lead then she’ll follow. I’m a more positive person because I invested in myself as much as Mandy invested in me. It’s not just about the physical...it’s about the real, the emotional, the psychological and the OVERCOMING what you were afraid to start.”
