“Stopped in on our way to YMCA Camp Lakewood and were pleasantly surprised. Parking lot was not that full but it was after 1:00. Decent facility and clean. Service was right away and friendly. “I called & spoke with Eric on Saturday, 7/16 to make a reservation for a funeral party of 35-40 on Monday. Eric said he had availability and they would be ready for us. His staff was definitely ready. There were about 31 of us and we had fantastic service! The ladies took our drink and appetizer orders quickly, plus gave us rolls. We received our food quickly & it was delicious! They totaled up each family’s order separately and were a blessing to a tired and hungry group! It was appreciated so much!”

“I’m sure it will take time to change some things with the new system. I used to like grilled onions on my melt but the system didn’t have that option, I probably could have requested it apart from the order. But overall the system was much better there. Steak ‘n shake has been known for overworking their employees. My twin sister used to work at one and I sent her pictures of the new look and she said it looks much better. I do think they should have the option for an employee to take the order too, but overall much better than waiting for an overworked waitress. Before they were required to seat people, take orders, fill drinks etc… make the shakes and cash out. The drive thru was responsible for taking orders, making orders, making shakes and cashing out people inside as well. It wasn’t a great system. Today we were in and out in 45 min and the food was correct!”

“This is a decent spot to settle in for some pizza. The thin crust was really good. We were slightly disappointed by the pan pizza. The crust wasn't nearly thick enough to qualify as pan IMO. The crust was also kind of bland. It could have used a dusting of some garlic and parmesan or something. The service was great and staff was really friendly. I'd definitely return for some thin crust!”

Make sure it's before 3pm, the lunch special is only good till then. “Very nice but super busy most of the time. I would say that's a good thing for the business of course but as a customer it can be a bit overwhelming when everyone is cramed into the restaurant. However the food is very good. Their wing sauce is something my son has loved since he was very young and my family has always enjoyed the shark appetizer as a treat. Recently shark tacos were added to the menu and I enjoyed those very much. It's definitely worth dealing with the crowds to enjoy this sports bar and grill with a fancy twist restaurant.”

“We had a large party of 14 for a birthday dinner, they had a large room saved for us and Tember was our waitress. She did an awesome job even considering they had a band outdoors that night she was helping out there and had several other tables. The food. !!!! Just awesome.. the steaks were premium cuts and prepared just perfect, oh forgot to mention the poor kitchen staff was short handed but still managed to prepare the food excellent as well as our whole party recieved their food more or less at the same time and was still fresh and warm. Highly recommend I am not a wine drinker. But several in our party really enjoyed the Old Depot dry white they have The old house is phenomenal”
