“Sand Vista is a true GEM in a wonderful area! We visited for the first time recently and were amazed at the location, hospitality, friendliness and unique vibes it had to offer. The staff was incredible, we had more than enough of everything stocked and ready in our room upon arrival and extra options, such as beach chairs, were abundant. The layout is fun, the pool and social area were great, the people are wonderful and the room was perfect for a weekend stay! We are already planning a trip back! We highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere close to the beach, restaurants and shopping.”

“This is a cute diner with Mickey & Minnie Mouse themed decorations. Wait staff are friendly & efficient. Food is tasty. Prices are very reasonable. The breakfast bowl (biscuit, gravy, & scrambled eggs) had a spicy kick that was just right & the sausages were cooked perfectly. Roast Beef dinner looked great but my fellow diners didn't share! Check this place out for a good meal in a comfortable, family-feel establishment.”

“The willow spring Mercantile is amazing. We have been visiting excelsior springs for 5 years and always make time for lunch here.We have enjoyed everything on the menu and my favorite is the peach nectar tea. I have to take the desert to go since we are always full (salted carmel brownie) upstairs you can taste test local wines and liquors. We seem to purchase some as well!!. Thank you for staying in excelsior springs!!! When you get to Iowa come visit our ranch for a trail ride!!”

“Would he a 5 star rating but our food took a pretty long time. We were there on NYE so that could have been the problem, but not really an excuse for taking almost an hour. My steak was cooked perfectly but a tad tough. Not enough to make me not want to eat it. Everything else was amazing. Loved the bruschetta and the grilled zucchini. Everyone in our party of 6 was very happy with their dinner. Our Server was fantastic!!! Sadly, I can't remember her name, only because we kept referring to her as our long lost sister because she looked amazingly like the sister of some in our party. Remarkably, she even sounded somewhat like her. She was attentive, very friendly and encouraged all of us to celebrate to the fullest. She was definitely a highlight to our girls night out for NYE and a milestone birthday. A great place to celebrate.”

Very friendly staff and great service along with good portions and prices make this our go to place at least once a week for Mexican food. “What a neat old time diner. Just like I remember from the fifties. Small place with vintage decor. Owner was great and the two wait staff were very nice and efficient. The five in our group had to sit at the counter and I was glad we did. Lots of fun. Oh, the food, it was pretty darn good too.”

“My sister and I stayed at the elms and dined at 88 for dinner and then had room service breakfast from the restaurant. Everything we ate was delicious. The bacon wrapped dates appetizer was so good, we loved the fried chicken and the pork dish. Dessert is not to be missed! The blueberry cobbler and key lime pie cheesecake were both outstanding!”

“Love Arby's. I didn't want to spend money on the new rib sandwich in case I did not like it so they let me try it and it was indeed worth the money and then I was able to order. They made sure that I liked it before I bought it which is a good deal especially with all the amazing sandwiches they keep coming up with. The only problem that I even remotely had was that someone dropped some jalapenos in with the sweet peppers ance sweet and hot are not my favorite. Other than that the food is sideways good, the eating area us always clean and staff although young are mostly friendly.”
