“Joy garden is the only part I miss about working in forest lake. Their food has become comfort food. Especially the Joy Roll. I cant emphasize enough how good that roll is. If you're trying to get into sushi, try the joy roll! Its tame as far as the raw fish goes, and its covered in tempura and flash fried (I think?) so the outside is super crunchy.”

(We walked in and had no wait time around 4pm) Only the second time me and my fiancee have been here and we brought her mother for her birthday and food was still amazing. “Haven't been at Fireside for a while. I forgot their food is pretty good. Our group of 6 had one slight miss on their meal, otherwise everyone was pleased. “First time here today. Don’t expect anything flashy, but do expect great tasting food. I ordered the chicken peanut curry along with pork egg rolls and fried dumplings. Egg rolls were good and homemade. The peanut curry had a ton of veggies and the broth had awesome peanut flavor. Wasn’t too thick. Wife had the Pad Thai Curry dish. It was a spin on the normal dish, but much more thicker/creamier like a fettuccine alfredo. It was tasty as well. It’s a wife and husband team and they were very friendly, but I could see where more than a few tables and things might slow down. I could be wrong. But, regardless it’s a great small business we all need to support, especially when you’re hungry!”

“It was our first time there. It was kind of late so we decided to share an "almost famous sampler platter" figuring it would be small 😃. For $15.99 we were amazed. “The pizza here may cost a little more than dominos, but it is worth it. I have tried almost all of the crust options, and I think the thin crust is the best option. All of them are good though. They also have a spaghetti pizza, which sounds weird but it actually works very well. Also, don't forget to add a splash for an extra kick. The first time I ordered a pizza they let me try the splash on the side to see if I liked it, they're willing to work with you to make the pizza how you want it”
