“Key West Bistro is located in one of my favorite areas of South Minneapolis and I visit as frequently as I can. Close to the light rail and other fantastic spots to grab food at. The owner is lovely and I really appreciate the thought that went into creating a space that doesn’t look like every other coffee shop in the Twin Cities. I started with an iced cafe con leche and it was SO GOOD and arguably the best drink to grab on a warm day. Followed up by a Cuban that was crunchy on the outside, pressed down to perfection and soft on the inside. Loved the pork, ham, cheese, mustard and pickles - all very authentic tasting, down to the sour pickles, which is KEY here. I’m a South Florida native who has lived in the twin cities for 6 years now. Finding Cuban food and Cuban coffee is not easy around here. Thanks for bringing back some great memories from my younger years with my most recent visit.”

“Tare is a beautiful store, kind staff, and since I tend to spill (in life in general) wherever I go, it's so nice to have towels around the shelves just for that purpose! I always get excited to refill my jars and containers at Tare, and pick up a little sweet treat like the chocolate pretzels 🤗 The only thing is sometimes the price, for example this shaker of garlic granules (garlic powder) came out to $13.71, when at the chain stores it might only be a few bucks. A refill bottle of body wash for $8.57, perhaps double what the original bottle cost at Target. I wish I could shop more at Tare as I'd love to support less packaging and waste, but the prices (for me) are somewhat of a barrier. 😭”

“Jackalope tattoo is the best of the best. I had been researching tattoo artists that can do fine line, minimalist floral tattoos and found a few artists at Jackalope that love doing that kind of work. Due to scheduling and high demand, I had to wait a bit to get on the books but it was totally worth it. Based on word of mouth from people I know and other reviews, I knew that I would feel comfortable and that this would be the shop for me. Every single person I encountered in my experience was so so kind, professional, and inclusive. The artist that did my tattoo, Tiana, was amazing! They are so talented and artistic, but they also worked to make sure so felt safe, secure, and comfortable during my whole experience. My tattoo came out better than I could have ever imagined! I have gotten so many compliments and questions about where I got my tattoo. I cannot recommend Jackalope and their artists enough! It’s the only place I’ll ever go for a tattoo!”

“I've been going to Baker's Wife for about a year and have tried just about everything they have to offer. My go-to items are the caramel pecan roll, cherry danish, and chocolate croissant. I also never leave without checking out their day-old loaves of bread. The prices are fair and the pastries are divine. I always stock up when I have out of town guests and they're always impressed as well. There's plenty of street parking around the shop so it's quite accessible. If you have a sweet tooth that needs satisfying, definitely check this place out!”

““Fancy Latte” Came here to pick up drinks to meet a friend, on their recommendation, and needed them to travel. No scoffs at the request for double cups, and they were happy to answer my questions. They gave great recommendations, and the attention to detail in the drink making was extremely impressive. Sorry the visit was short this time. I plan to drive the 20 minutes again to get the full experience! Had the “fancy latte” (vanilla and cardamom I believe!?), and it was delicious.”
