It's always busy, so make reservations and plan for a beverage at the bar before you're seated. Once seated, the servers are very friendly and attentive. The food is amazing! You won't go away hungry. The all-you-can-eat fish, with salad, potato, and garlic toast is most satisfying. It's no wonder that it was tasted the Best Friday Fish Fry in the Twin Cities. “Worth the stop! Food was fantastic, filling and reasonably priced. The caramel roll was one of the best I’d ever had! (Just make sure you get one before they run out.) kids meals were good portions. The special was the hot beef sandwich and I would recommend. The beef was very tender and the potatoes and gravy had great flavor.”

“Just off the beaten path of MN Hwy 52 N, is a hidden treasure called Dan's Bar and Grill, in New Trier. Fast friendly service, unique menu of burgers, salads, sandwiches and more. Definitely worth that extra 2.3 miles off the main highway! We will be returning to try more!”

“A co worker suggested this place. We tried the Aloha pizza as well as the too much garlic knots. The garlic butter is awesome. We really liked the food. The service was pretty good and we went on a Monday and got there when it opened.”
