“I have been going to Cafe 12:2 for over five years at this point, and the quality never disappoints! They have a wide variety of hot, cold, and blended drinks such as mochas, lattes, frappuccinos, drip coffee, etc. There are bottled soda pop and water as well, and apart from beverages they also sell yogurt, cheese and beef sticks, candies and pastries. All of the products are reasonably priced; in the five years I've been at 12:2, there has only been a 25 cent raise in price primarily because of a switch to a higher quality coffee brand. All the staff are friendly and understanding, the layout of the Cafe is warm and aesthetically pleasing, and of course all the drinks look and taste amazing!”

“I went there once to see a music concert that my neighbor''s granddaughter was doing, and I always make it a habit to clap both in sign language and regularly. The pastor noticed this and commented to me about it since he knew the sign for clapping in sign language , so we ended up having a very snazzy conversation about how music is so much more than just hearing since music can be visual, have rhythm, have vibrations felt from it, etc... Seems pretty cool or open minded for a pastor, for anyone who is a kook like me who doesn't belong to an organized church. : )”

“Very authentic group of people who love Jesus and want to share his love with the community and the world. I have gone to many churches all over the country, but now live in the Minneapolis metro and have attended The River Church for over 2yrs and cannot recommend it enough. Don't get me wrong, there are so many fantastic churches in the area, but I love the smaller size and intimate teaching atmosphere of the River. It's a Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) church, but operates very much like a non-denominational church. The sermon is more like a classroom atmosphere with plenty of dialogue between the pastors and congregation. I find the interaction brings depth of understanding and insight into Biblical truths that might not have come to light otherwise. The music is mostly contemporary with some old hymns too. It's a good mix. We meet in an old elementary school so our offering money can go toward more ministry outreaches instead of building expenses. The dress is typically very casual and the atmosphere is very welcoming. If you're searching for a solid church, check it out. :)”

“I love the people at this church! They are so welcoming and so full of love! Each time I come here, I feel loved, accepted and appreciated. This church does have an older membership base, so it may be difficult for younger people to feel like they fit in here. However, they do offer Sabbath School for the kids, and they make a good effort to get the younger members involved!”

“I love it here. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. It feels like home. They're queer friendly and inclusive and are part of the More Light Presbyterians. They have disability parking, a wheelchair accessible entrance, and accessible restrooms. The restrooms are also gender neutral! They have a food shelf and fresh vegetables in the summer from their gardens! There are a lot of cool missions that the church is a part of, which is amazing. There's also an art gallery inside and they do different art shows throughout the year! So many things to love about this place.”
