“I was so excited to see the So Chocolate to be opened again. I stopped by here on Thursday afternoon while waiting on my flight to Kansas City. The person there was super friendly and amazing. She recommend me a dark chocolate with hazelnut that was amazing. She also told me about the Treat Our Troops. I purchased a box of chocolate for them to take to the troops. Overall, it was an amazing experience thanks to the person on the counter for being amazing and friendly.”

They open super early which is great because we arrived at 6am for our flight and needed a little boost hahah... the line was pretty Ling but for sure kinda expected that. “I just purchased a C7 Shiatsu massage seat as a gift. They are shipping it for me, which I GREATLY appreciate. I ran over to this store between flights, the transaction was quick and easy. Jessica helped me, she was friendly. The only complaint I had was that they do not have the correct store hours listed on Google Maps. I've been trying to get to their location several times during the last week to make this big purchase, but every time I was in the DTW airport they were closed! Even though their store hours say they close at 10pm (on the days I was there). So they never updated their hours after the pandemic started. They should have. Even worse, the phone number listed doesn't work anymore, so I couldn't even call them to see what their closing time is! This associate that helped me today said she would tell the store manager about these issues. I hope the massage seat works! It's a surprise for my husband.”

“I don’t typically choose to eat airport food, but because I booked my flight the night before didn’t have time to buy anything to bring with me. My salmon and two sides platter way exceeded my expectations, delicious ! They even had my favorite brand of ketchup and mustard! Had an awesome meal here, I highly recommend it! The bar also was good, although wasn’t in the mood for alcohol this early.”

“There is an incredible arboretum here of many large old trees of many kinds, so it is a great place to wander. There are also incredibly maintained gardens packed with perennial flowers around the building and memorial fountain. Lots of perfect baseball fields some wonderful old stone BBQ grills with chimneys (1930s?). A natural urban stream runs through here so I see geese and groundhogs. The cottonwoods in the middle are quite majestic.”
