“The young lady on the phone had good customer service skills. They were out of several items on the menu by the time I called at 6pm, which means they must have a good following! The food we did receive was hot, but the portions were small for the $30 we paid. The best tasting items we got were the green beans, my kids loved them! My short rib tips had too much fat, the meat loaf was a kid sized portion and not seasoned very well. The Mac n cheese looked amazing, but I could have used a little more flavor. Overall, we may return as this is one of the few clean and sanitary soul food places since Covid.”

“I was suspicious from the outside. It looked like another glop-on-rice "Chinese" restaurant. It is anything but on the inside. The interior is clean, cozy, and has a rich feeling. An immediate good sign was that most of the customers were of Asian descent. The food was as good as some San Francisco "Chinese" restaurants, and I'll put this place up against any place in Windsor, ONT. They have a liquor license too. People were friendly, service was great. Can't wait to go back.”
