“First time visiting this eve. Cat/Kat (Batender) was amazing, so friendly and fun! I would come back just for her and the experience she gave! Add on…. The atmosphere, up north, UP feel when entering! Great food!! Fried mushrooms were fantastic!! Pastie?? Made in house, very good!! Gravy was wonderful though the preference was hot sauce and catsup! If they could just add rutabaga, it would truly be perfection!! Truly! Can’t have a Pastie without Rutabaga! Still would give it an 8 out if 10 without the rutabaga. The dough was wonderful as was the flavor. Large portion and filling! French onion soup, eh, I think they could certainly get this better!! I’m a French Onion Soup Snob!! I’ll give it 5 out of 10. Wouldn’t order again. Cheese was spot on as well as onions but the broth left me sad. Bland and boring. No richness. No beef flavor to fill your taste buds. The pulled pork sandwich was a 10! Delicious! Coleslaw was blue cheese and mild on cheese taste but so pleasant. Not too creamy! Not watery! Blue cheese crumbles or chunks would put it over the top!! Wings? Delicious. Crunchy celery and fantastic blue cheese dip!! Their Ranch and a alao wonderful! I will certainly come back for both atmosphere, fantastic Bartender and food! Lots more to try! Cat says the fish and chips is spot on! That will be my next try! Was so indulged in Cat conversation that I didn’t take photos of the pastie and the pulled pork, but seriously, take my word! Just as I was leaving, the entertainment was starting! Open Mic Night!! Fun!! I give this experience a two thumbs up! Cat is wonderful and watching the servers, I think this place has it going on! Seems like great chemistry within the staff!! That is a difficult task for any establishment! Kudos!!”

Not only is this store convenient to me, but I feel welcomed when I’m there. They are competent, courteous and caring. And their selection is beyond convenient.”

“Loved this place! Stopped for lunch on the weekend and was impressed by the food. The lunch soup is really good, lots of rich thick broth and deep flavor. We had Beef and peppers and a cashew chicken dish. Both had excellent flavor and good spice. I was a little surprised how intense the medium spice was, but it was well balanced in the sauce. The staff was great. Very friendly and willing to chat. A great spot for sure. We will definitely be back.”

“July 2022 - came here with my children and friends after camping near by. Nice place to get some food. My middle daughter loves spaghetti and she gave it two thumbs up. I ordered the patty melt with fries. Not bad. Good place to try. Waitress was very nice and she covering around 6 tables. She did a great job getting us drinks. Staff was great too.”

“This is an diner feel kinda place, the small leather booths and mirrors on the wall. There was a booth available for my party of four when I arrived on a Saturday evening. The Mexican Fiesta salad was great, I would get it again. The portion sizes are large and most everyone has leftovers. The service was well attentive and friendly.”

“It was too late in the evening to order from where I usually get my Chinese but I was really craving some Chinese. I did a google search and came upon this little jewel. They were open until 10:30 and are only a couple of miles away, so, I hopped in my car, and off I went. I ordered Almond Chicken, House Lo-Mein, Pan Fried Dumplings, and a couple of Egg Rolls. The service was fast and friendly. I got home, opened up the bag, and WOW! The portions were HUGE! As a matter of fact, I'm on my third day of eating all of these delights and I still have more left. The food was DELICIOUS! Everything I ordered was good but my favorite had to be the dumplings, especially the sauce. They were massive. I've never seen anything like them. I will definitely be returning.”

“First time in but highly recommended by a friend and well worth it. It wasn't exceptionally busy for a Saturday evening but the service was on point and the kitchen timing was just right. Our server Matthew made some great recommendations and everything was prepared very well. Even the desserts while decadent, weren't overwhelmingly so and are scratch made. “Super Nice Guy helped me tonight. His name is Rico. He made me smile as soon as I came in because he greeted me with my name and I hadn't called ahead so I wondered how he knew me by name... Well I still had my name tag on from work! He point at it and had such a great manner that I felt happy that I was there! He said my order would just be a few minutes so I thought I'd wait in my vehicle and he ended up bringing it out to me with a smile. What a great experience and great food.
