“I had a flat tire and went to a big box tire store. The wait was going to be 3 hours. I called another big box store and it was going to be a longer wait than that. I called Millers Tire and they said they could get me in right away. They were 4 minutes away and they fixed it in 15 minutes. The first place also tried to talk me into four new tires which I don't need and Millers Tire confirmed. They were so nice and professional!”

“First time visiting this eve. Cat/Kat (Batender) was amazing, so friendly and fun! I would come back just for her and the experience she gave! Add on…. The atmosphere, up north, UP feel when entering! Great food!! Fried mushrooms were fantastic!! Pastie?? Made in house, very good!! Gravy was wonderful though the preference was hot sauce and catsup! If they could just add rutabaga, it would truly be perfection!! Truly! Can’t have a Pastie without Rutabaga! Still would give it an 8 out if 10 without the rutabaga. The dough was wonderful as was the flavor. Large portion and filling! French onion soup, eh, I think they could certainly get this better!! I’m a French Onion Soup Snob!! I’ll give it 5 out of 10. Wouldn’t order again. Cheese was spot on as well as onions but the broth left me sad. Bland and boring. No richness. No beef flavor to fill your taste buds. The pulled pork sandwich was a 10! Delicious! Coleslaw was blue cheese and mild on cheese taste but so pleasant. Not too creamy! Not watery! Blue cheese crumbles or chunks would put it over the top!! Wings? Delicious. Crunchy celery and fantastic blue cheese dip!! Their Ranch and a alao wonderful! I will certainly come back for both atmosphere, fantastic Bartender and food! Lots more to try! Cat says the fish and chips is spot on! That will be my next try! Was so indulged in Cat conversation that I didn’t take photos of the pastie and the pulled pork, but seriously, take my word! Just as I was leaving, the entertainment was starting! Open Mic Night!! Fun!! I give this experience a two thumbs up! Cat is wonderful and watching the servers, I think this place has it going on! Seems like great chemistry within the staff!! That is a difficult task for any establishment! Kudos!!”

“I purchased a new kitchen faucet and needed it installed. I called a different plumbing company in the Rochester area and they said the earliest they can come out was 3 weeks. Then I called Carters on Friday and they said they can install it on Monday (3 days later). Carters sent me a text message the day before the appointment letting me know the plumber would be at our house between 12pm and 5pm. The day of the appointment, Carters called me and said the plumber is on the way. Communication was excellent with this company. Derrick showed up and was starting to pick up the Amazon boxes that happened to be on my porch and bring them inside, totally nice guy. He was very professional and provided the estimate before doing anything and my wife signed and said she was OK with the price. I see some reviews saying Carter’s charges too much, once you receive the estimate, you are free to make a decision to have them do the work for the price quoted or tell them no thanks. The install was great and he cleaned up everything and left. I will use Carter’s again. We didn’t have any issues with the company or Derrick. No need for a picture, everyone knows what a kitchen faucet looks like…”

“Loved this place! Stopped for lunch on the weekend and was impressed by the food. The lunch soup is really good, lots of rich thick broth and deep flavor. We had Beef and peppers and a cashew chicken dish. Both had excellent flavor and good spice. I was a little surprised how intense the medium spice was, but it was well balanced in the sauce. The staff was great. Very friendly and willing to chat. A great spot for sure. We will definitely be back.”
