“This place has a great atmosphere. Comfortable lighting and inside it's like an old colonial bar from the 1800s. Exposed beams on the ceiling and a cozy fireplace when the weather is cooler. The bartenders are all really friendly and make great drinks. I have been here for dinner a handfull of times. The food has been hit or miss. One night we went for dollar oysters and they were really good. We went back the next week and the oysters were about the size of a human fist. We tried them but ended up sending them back. The chef came out to apologize respectfully. We didn't end up having to pay for them. Another occasion our food had a hair. Overall great place and we continue to go for the ambiance, drinks, and bartenders. Would recommend to a friend.”

“Great selection of beer and a variety of food items to order. We went with the bar snacks: meatballs, buffalo cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts. The cauliflower was great being lightly breaded and fried, tasty with texture, but not so much breading and sauce as is common in other places. The sprouts were also outstanding: well roasted and covered with an interesting sauce. The meatballs were just a little lacking. They were tasty but just missing some sort of texture on the outside of the ball.”

“I'm from out of town, and this was recommend by a local. I was not disappointed. It is takeout only, but there are a few benches nearby you can sit and munch at, which is what I did. They have brick oven pizzas, burgers, and some sammies. I ordered the fig and prosciutto personal sized pizza, with spinach and ricotta, and a slightly sweet glaze. It was fantastic. And the staff was super helpful and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.”

“I was on the road today and needed to pick something up for lunch. A coworker suggested Benchwarmer. I called in my usual ham & cheese with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and hot peppers, toasted. Very quick, my order was ready when I arrived. I love shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes....however, they forgot the hots. Not a big deal, just a preference, my sandwich was great. I'd go back again.”

“I love this place!!! We are working up the road and stumbled across it.. This is my second time here. Not only is the food and coffee fresh and amazing but the first time i was here I bought 2 waters and forgot them on the counter. Well when I showed up today not only did the girl remember me but she had my 2 waters waiting for me. Now that's unheard of.. Your not gonna get that or the fresh food they serve here at Dunkin Donuts. I highly recommend checking out The Coastal Cafe!!”

“My favorite restaurant in the area, never disappoints. There’s a pretty good variety of dishes to choose from, from sophisticated entrees, to burgers and fish and chips. Meals are prepared at the moment, with good quality and fresh ingredients, which allows modifications and special requests. Even though vegetarian entrees aren’t on the menu, (but soups and sides are!) the chef will create a special dish for you if requested. The one in the picture was tonight’s dinner: a mix of grains, veggies, and nuts, accompanied by carrots cream.”
