“La Taqueria 320 Washington St, Dedham, MA 02026 I went to this location because my daughter said that she and some friends tried it before and it was good. So I tried it. My daughter ordered 3 tacos, the Carne Asada, Caritas and the Grilled chicken, my wife ordered the Chicken and cheese quesadilla and I ordered the fish taco (fried battered fish) you have a choice between grilled or fried, the flavor of all was impeccable, however the portions for the price was a bit hard for me to digest. My daughter's 3 small Tacos were fifteen dollars and some change, my taco was $4.99 + 25 cents for a wedge of lime I don't remember the price of the quesadilla I think it was 7 or 8 dollars and came with fries. They are a bit nickel and dime and charge 50 cents for each topping like pico de gallo or sour cream. Don't get me wrong the food tasted great the service was a bit aloof and it took a bit to get my order ( I saw my fish taco sitting there waiting to be dressed for about 5 minutes.) The average taco was about 3 bites so a bit on the small size. Normally you will find this size taco sold in an order with at least 2 or 3 for under $10.00. Even with what I perceive as high prices the flavor of the food will more than likely make me go back. I just will not choose it very often because I don't feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck. In my experience a lot of taqueria's offer beans and rice as a side so I usually order a couple of amuse-bouche sized Tacos and get a side of rice and beans to fill out the meal. So next time I will probably try that. Overall I believe if you like authentic taco's you will like this place. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.”

“Use to get an excellent rating in the other location. I miss the warmth and charm of the old place. You could sit right on fireplace ledge, or in big comfy chairs in front of it. Okay they have a fireplace here, but it's behind glass. It looks trapped. People use to sit and read the paper, chatted more. It's the difference between going to a bed and breakfast at a cozy inn and staying at a modern hotel.Okay modern is efficient. I get it. Just not my style. Food is still fresh and delicious as is expected. I seldom eat here now. But in the warmer weather I'll try the outdoor area with the umbrellas. I'll try and imagine Route1 is the seashore!”

“I'm a New Yorker at heart because I was born and raised there. But today I call Boston my home. I moved from N.Y. back in 96 first to the Cape then 6 yrs ago I moved north of the Cape to the Boston area. With that being said one thing I miss about NY is the thin crust pizza. I've lived away from N.Y. since 96 and ever since I've always been on a quest to be able to find a good quality pizza place. I'll be honest I've been rather disappointed with a lot of pizza places other than a few and Oakdale Pizza is one of the few that serves a really good pizza. It's not the super thin crust that I crave but from the homemade pizza dough to the sauce and even better is the quality of the mozzarella that they use makes this a great place to get pizza. Many different styles of pizza to order from if you like it a little different than the norm. But pizza is only one part of there menu because they offer quite a bit of items on the menu to choose from. There Italian cold cut subs are amazing super fresh tasting and definitely not ordering a salad sandwich like most places do and you leave wondering why they don't put enough meat on the sandwich. My wife loves there chicken pita with fresh tomatoes, onions, feta, a type of Greek cheese sauce with super tender chicken on pita and my mother in law loves there steak stir fry. What makes Oakdale Pizza the best for me is that I don't have to travel far from my house to go there for takeout or delivery if I'm feeling lazy let alone not worry about going anywhere else on my quests to find good pizza. I highly recommend this place if you like quality ingredients, lots of choices from a menu that should satisfy most and are a connoisseur of pizza like myself”

“The best, fast burger around! I almost always order the little bacon cheeseburger. It's plenty of food for most adults, especially when you load it up with pickles, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc! The fries are huge, so I only order them if I have someone to share them with. Both the regular and Cajun are delicious. The staff there are wonderful. I have been there at different times of day, and always been treated extremely well by the friendly cooks and cashiers. They will never add those piping hot fries to your bag until you are picking it up at the counter. If you can handle the calories, the milkshakes are fantastic. I order the chocolate with whipped cream, but there are many flavor options. The tables and floors are constantly kept clean. If I had to come up with a complaint it might be that they empty the trash a bit more often, and turn the volume down a little on the lame classic rock that's usually the afternoon staple.”
