“Not Your Average Joe's is a truly fantastic restaurant! This has become one of our favorite go to places for date night. The ambiance is charming and trendy at the same time. The food is amazing and every thing I've tried has been perfect. They have booths, tables and high tops so there's a place for everyone. We always make reservations online because they get packed. They're located in The Loop right next to the movie theatre and there's plenty of parking.”

“The restaurant was very nice. The waiter was very attentive. It had nice soft music so I could have a conversation with my friends and not have to yell at them. The food was a little to spicy for me. I know it's a Mexican restaurant but I figure if I want it hot I could at the hot sauce myself.. i had trouble eating it. I had a very nice Margherita .”

“Some McDonald's are horrible, but this was really did great. Young kids were helpful and nice. It I obvious the management here know how to treat the help. They looked like they enjoyed workg there. And The food was delish. Nice job.”

“I finally got to try this place. I was not disappointed because it was what I had expected. The food I had chosen was good,however,the broccoli was not the freshest in town. I was trying to balance the bad with the good, the fall off the bone ribs with broccoli, so it was important for my broccoli to be as fresh as fresh can be! I guess that it was just not the case at that time. I will go back again in the near future and try it one more time, then I will rewrite my review.”

“Sat at the bar! Bartender was swamped, but was very attentive. Glasses over our heads were dusty/dirty with cobwebs. Food was served hot and plentiful.”
