“I decided to check out the restaurant so I ordered both a breakfast and a lunch item for takeout. The service was good and both items turned out to be pretty good. The restaurant is a little pricey for what it is. My Reuben sandwich was $12.99 and included a small bag of chips. My cheese omelette was $9.99 and came with sourdough bread. For comparison, the veggie omelette is $11.99 plus $1.99 if you want cheese with it. Keep in mind that you order at the counter and a tip option is displayed on the computer screen. The baked items looked very appetizing, and I will likely try them on my next visit.”

We had a short wait for our order, under 35 minutes. You can order them and take your food to any table. We got a variety of items. The stuffed turnips and ham puffs were delicious and different. The cucumber salad was refreshing. The shredded port and rice cake dish would be great for those who love flavor with no heat. The signature soup dumplings stole the show. “Our journey with SECU started in Nov. 2021. If we had begun with this particular branch with Kristie and her manager, it probably would have been completed in November. However, we started online and on the phone. Getting connected with anyone through the phone on the main line is always a hit or miss prospective. We were passed around to no less then 6 different reps who all made mistakes and we had to start the whole process of acquiring a HELOC 4 separate times. Each time someone submitted incorrect or incomplete information and the application was denied. We would call, never speak to the same person of course, but after holding for a real person to speak with you for over 20 mins each time I couldn't be choosy. Without going through the whole ordeal in detail, we were finally connected with the supervisor who restarted the process. At this time I contacted Kristie at the Ellicott City branch office. She and her manager were actually the icing on the cake. Literally, they went over ALL the documents with a fine tooth comb and made sure that they were submitted correctly and completely, which was flubbed by another branch, smoothed everything over. What took almost 3 months, they succeeded in 1 week. We went into the Ellicott City branch to close on the loan and Kristie, again very meticulously went over every sheet of the doc to make sure there would be absolutely no reason for the loan to be rescinded, especially due to thoughtless and sloppy procedures. She rechecked and asked her manager to recheck all the docs so that not one signature or initial was missing. Thank you, both for showing us how it should have been done in the first place.”

“A month ago, I found out about this place from my daughter. Didn't even know this place existed and I have lived in Howard county for over 20 years. As you can see, I am not much of a bar person. Now I have been to every restaurant around this place but never thought about it. A month ago, my wanted some chicken. So I ordered some food from our usual place and then on the way over there to pick it up, I stopped by and talked to the owner's son and put in an order for their boneless chicken to go. After picking up the usual food, I came back and picked up the boneless chicken from here. I don't know if it was because it got cold and the shrinkage factor, the boneless chicken was pretty sad. I air fried it to heat it up but it didn't help. I thought about putting in a review of that experience but thought that it would be unfair to base it on just one dish under not ideal conditions. So I didn't. Well, this week, a group of friends wanted to come here for drinks and food and I readily agreed. Wanted to give it a proper chance. As you can see from the photos, the place is not that large but with the long table in the middle, it can adapt to a lot of people in a group. This time the food was really really goof. Everyone loved all the chicken dishes. I would say the half and half chicken is probably the best dish they have. I could use a much spicier sauce personally but it suited everyone else just fine. The food came out in a timely manner and it was great. The one thing that I would say they can improve upon is that I didn't see any Korean beers on the menu. Just had Sapporo beer. No draft beers either. I know it's a Korean bar but it is still a bar and beer variety is a must. People want what they want when it comes to beer. I would note that the flavored Korean rice wine was definitely a huge hit with all the ladies.”
