The donuts were delicious and held up very well throughout the day till it was time for them to be served. “This is my second time ordering from Truly Yours Sugar Cookies- and by no means my last!! Nancy’s cookie flavor is a vanilla lemon bean and they are so soft and delicious- the perfect amount of sweetness! Not to mention SO cute!!! I first ordered them for a baby shower (EXTREMELY short notice)- all I had to do was send her the invite, and she created beautiful matching cookies that were such a hit!! About six months later, I used her again when I hosted my sister’s bridal shower, and again, her cookies impressed the crowd and were the perfect favors to put on each plate! Nancy’s pricing is very reasonable and also includes options to heat seal each cookie in a cellophane bag, with a ribbon, and a sticker that includes the ingredient list. With both orders, she even includes an extra cookie or two, just incase! She is sooooo kind and great to work with-and a very prompt replier! I will always look forward to having her bake for my events!”

“We visited the orchard after hiking all day at Catoctin Mountain Park, just a mile down the road. It was right at the end of apple season and the sun was going down, so we didn't do any apple picking, but there were plenty of apples to choose from at their country store, which also offered, pears, potatoes, baked goods, butter, preserves, and much more. The Fuji, Gala, and Golden Delicious apples were incredible, as well as their apple butter. We also adored meeting the golden lab who hangs out in the store, keeping track of the wares and greeting customers. A great business with great apples! Please note that they prefer cash.”

“I went to the Hive today for some hot coffee and something sweet. Unfortunately for me there were too many choices. My husband and I shared the coffee cake and apricot scone, both delish. The chocolate brownie cookie was so soft and tasty. My daughter loves peanut butter any, so I got her the peanut butter cookies with chocolate filling. It my not make it back to VA. I also picked up 2 loads of love, I mean bread. One pretzel and one baguette. Plan on making french inspired sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. The couple that was there were awesome and very helpful. We will be returning very soon.”

This was our first visit and, in spite of coming in well after the morning rush, there was still a good selection of both sweet and savory to choose from. We chose the corn and tomato quiche, the salmon quiche, the blueberry lemon pastry, and the ferrerorocious croissant, and absolutely loved every bite! Everything had a good flavor, and lovely presentation. There is a loyalty program to bring you back, if the enticement of the food isn't enough on its own. Highly recommend and we will be back!”

Is a gated facility where y have a set of phone #'s that y can call in which the crew inside opens the gate. Does get busy there and the gate is about the only drawback.”
