“Terrific to work with and analyzes the problem accurately faster than you can explain it. A previous plumber changed a part in my toilet and said I was "all set" but the tank refilled again during the night, keeping me awake. Jim knew exactly what part to replace (a washer is easily damaged by chlorine in the water) and replaced a second part to make the toilet quieter--as it was when new. He charged less than the plumber who got it wrong. A bonus was a discussion about nature photography that his wife does, since I am a nature photographer too. Took him 30 minutes, and he showed up in one day.”

“My band is from New York and through a mutual friend we ended up recording our album at Maryland Mix and Master with Myles Vlachos. The experience was something I would really like to recapture when we record our second record. Vlachos has a top notch studio, filled with brand new gear and both new and vintage equipment. The really unique touch to all of it is the production. Vlachos reworked and touched up several of our songs and the result was perfect. We entered the studio not sure what to expect and left with an album that exceed our expectations. Myles pushed us further than we thought we could go, and in the end we left with an album we loved and are proud of. Can't recommend enough.”

“In a small town so you won't stand in a 2mile long line, no gas pumps but there is one literally right next to the 7-11. The owner and employees are personable. If they have something you want and don't see and you are a regular customer, she (the owner) will order the item (s) for you if she is able to. Always well stocked and clean, and fresh hot coffee! no bathrooms, but our kind pharmacy that is 4 doors down will always let you run in if your in a bind! Always open !”
