“It's hard to write a review about the center of your family and community life - that's what St. Mary's is for us and has been for a LONG time. My wife and I were married here. My parents were married here. AND, my grandparents were married here. We've also had a great ran of priests here, including the current priest, Father Pat Broussard. You should definitely speak to him, if you need help. He's a great confessor, too! Confession, by the way, is on Saturdays before the Vigil Mass. Also, the Knights of Columbus are great in this parish - you can find them on Facebook and Twitter (council #1998) or by calling the church office.”

As a musician and vocalist in the ministry at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Maringouin at that time. I was on the retreat as the "driver" for several Untied Methodist Women (the lord was my help) lol. While visiting on this Methodist retreat, I can say, I have never felt so welcome and so much love in any church as I did visiting First United Methodist.
