“This is a fantastic breakfast spot. It has all the home cooked favorites on the menu, and the servers are very friendly. I was disappointed that nothing was homemade. Good, but the food has that "out of a can; out of a bag" feel and taste. I happen to love corned beef hash out of a can, so I was okay with it. The generic pre-baked biscuits were the worst part of the entire meal. I like my homemade biscuits and gravy, so that was a real letdown. Overall, I would certainly go back for breakfast. I would just make better choices from the menu.”

“Very busy barbecue restaurant located in a corner gas station that serves excellent food. Joe's has a fun and varied menu to meet most tastes. The atmosphere is definitely what one would want in a fast casual dining restaurant. This was the second and third time I visited. It is approximately 1700 miles from where I live and will worth the drive. Fun fact: Joe's offers shipping of most their products overnight in the continental U.S.”

“Everyone in Kansas City has an opinion about the best BBQ, but this is a joint that has been around since the early 30's and should not be ignored or dismissed. Best sauce, best brisket, and they serve RC cola. No one else in the city serves RC cola, and I wish we had more places that did. It's near impossible to find this far north. Very old school vibe and definitely my favorite place in the city for 'que.”
