“First time visiting this place today and had great food and great fun with a group of friends. We ended up staying for literally about 3 hours because it wasn't a busy time for them. Regarding service there, it is self order, in that you go up to the counter, place your order and then they bring it out to you when it's ready. We had quite a variety of food at our table and I think everyone agreed what they had was really good. Very well priced. We had a lovely young woman take our orders and the whole atmosphere couldn't have been more comfortable and welcoming. Plus it smells great in there! They have a big area outside that even has a stage so I'm guessing on weekends and or some weekend evenings there is entertainment. I'm sure the local Eudora folks appreciate having such a great place. Well worth the drive!”

“My Granddaughter chose Old Chicago to celebrate her 15th birthday. Lawrence is the equal distance for all of us to meet. Our server was a charming young man named Christian. He was friendly and polite. He made my Granddaughters birthday dinner wonderful. Even the Manager came around to talk to Us and wish her a happy birthday. The foods was excellent. We will definitely be back.”

“Restaurant has always been very clean. Their happy hour prices are a good deal for food and drinks. The lunch and dinner menu is good. The reason I gave them a 4 is the brunch food does not taste fresh. Some of the items on the buffet tastes like it was just heated up from being frozen. Service has always been good.”

“This is a mom and pop kind of place. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. My dad ordered corn chowder which they had just made. He loved it and ate a huge bowl of it. I had a Reuben which was also very good. It's a good place to eat lunch.”

“This place has the best biscuits and gravy! My boyfriend and I try to go once a week. The last time we were here (04/2019) we had a great experience. One of the managers (?)(black shirt, tan pants) apologized twice because our food wasn't ready quickly and he gave us free food! My boyfriend and I didn't think our food was taking too long, just longer than usual, so it was a nice surprise. Oh, and we had a great waitress! I think her name was Ciera? (Black hair, has definitely worked there over a year now) She had tons of tables to tend to but was still very attentive to us. I recommend The Big Biscuit to everyone!”

Service: They answered out questions about some dishes such what the "Happy Family" dish is and were polite. Food: Tasted great and fully cooked. Food was warm. I had the Mongolian Beef which was delicious. My sister had the sweet and sour pork. Small bites and not bad tasting. My mom had the Moo Shu Beef. It was also delicious. Had a lot of screens to watch any game you want, restaurant is bigger than it looks. It's attached to the bowling alley so I would recommend eating there and bowling.”

“I like this place. One of my favorite bars in Lawrence. Good drinks, reasonable prices. Bartenders are always cool. Quite a few screens so it's a pretty good place to watch a game. They also have trivia nights, which are fun. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they have a pretty limited menu and they don't serve every day per week. I will say that their food is good. Just wish they had more variety. Crimson & Brews is a non fancy, no frills place but it is also very warm and welcoming. Not pretentious. Not too collegey. A friendly unassuming "hole in the wall" which is comfortable and familiar.”
