“Absolutely amazing experience! I went in with mousy brown hair and came out with fiery copper! I was looking for a new look and that’s what I got. I showed my stylist a picture of the cut and color I wanted and she gave me exactly what I wanted. The stylist was super personable and the shop is beautiful. Looks like after 4 yrs of looking for a new stylist I’ve finally found one! Couldn’t be happier!”

“These are the greatest guys on the planet. Had an issue with a ukulele I bought there months ago and they ended up getting Fender to replace the thing with the newer model. Setup and prep are outstanding as they take the time to do it right, no matter how long it takes. These are pros who take the time to explain to us rookies what needs to be done, and how to maintain your investment. THANKS GUYS!”

OmTree Shala

Gym Health

“I like the Om Tree all right but have had some issues that keep me from coming back. Last year I purchased 3 classes, and did not see anything that said I had purchased the NEXT 3 classes, so I thought I had 3 classes that I could drop in to, so when I called to check about the next class, I was asked to pay again. That didn't sit right with me, though I admit that I might have misread something. I understand that they're trying to run a business but I truly don't understand why WHICH class I show up to is mandatory. It's not like a massage, where if I don't show up they're not being paid -- they already had my money. IDK. It stuck out to me. The room is small and gets hot easily so if you're bigger like I am, then it can be a little cozier than desired. I would like to say that the people are friendly but aside from the instructor on the first class, no one so much as made eye contact with me. Maybe I'm not the right fit? IDK, the place and the audience felt pretty elitist, despite nothing being said. However, despite all that, the classes themselves were great. There are options for every level of yoga-readiness and physical ability, the schedule is color coded so that you don't accidentally sign up for something that your body isn't ready for, and are open quite early in the AM and late at night. I honestly did enjoy my experience, and Umbika changed my Pyramid Pose so that it was basically an entirely new experience that has changed my hamstrings for the better -- but there is something off-putting that keeps me from making it my only destination for yoga in Lawrence.”
