“This place is consistently consistent. I don’t think I’ve ever been there when it’s crazy. It’s got this cozy hole in the wall bar feel, but a sort of family restaurant. Imagine a place where teachers go for happy hour. That’s Set ‘me Up Jacks. Staff is so so. Some are happy. Some are just there, but friendly. Food is good. Tvs everywhere. Game room. Perfect for the bar fly that wants to hear the giggle of children. I’d say try it out. It may not be for you, but maybe it is.”

Taco Tuesday is a very busy time with $1 crispy tacos and $4.99 for 4 traditional soft tacos. .99 beer as well! I have had numerous items from the menu over the years. Never disappointed!”

“This hotel is proof that you don’t have to spend 200+ dollars to have a nice hotel room. The lobby is comfortable, modern and open. The exterior has a bit of Scandinavian flair to it. Staff Is friendly and able to answer questions about Lawrence. I used to both the pool and the treadmill which were both great. There was also a nice gas fire pit that was outside. The complimentary breakfast is nicely prepared.”
