“This is a friendly local Indian supermarket with a restaurant available in the back of the shop. On the grocery store side, there is a nice selection of frozen Indian breads and samosas, Indian flours, many of which are gluten-free (including chick pea flour and water chestnut flour), Indian spices, teas, cosmetics and Ayurvedic supplements. There is a small selection of produce as well. Our personal favorites included Ginger-Gur (Palm Sugar) cookies, excellent Wagh Bakri tea, and frozen Methi Paratha Indian bread. At the checkout area, there is a selection of homemade Indian fudges. Healthier and not as sweet as American fudges, they are made with a variety of ingredients (try the cashew flour fudge!) and I have tried them all without any disappointments. In the back of the shop, you can order curries, chai, paratha breads, samosas and other Indian specialties at a much lower price than you would pay in a fancy Indian restaurant. Be warned, the dining room is very simple and occasionally a bit rough looking (like some restaurants I actually visited in India, itself). Pro Tip: You might choose to carry out your food rather than eating it in the shop. And I think avoiding the restrooms, when possible, would be advisable, as well Highly recommended for dining, shopping and especially for the Indian Barfi fudge”

“My last couple of stops at this Walmart Money Center/Customer Service Desk has been awesome. I've been in and out in less than 5 minutes. The store is a whole other problem tho. It's been a total disaster. What I can't figure out is why they have so many You Scans at each end of the store and don't have the ones at the end by the pharmacy open EVER. But they have had people working as greeters at that entrance so that's a total mystery to me. The lines have been awful in the few lanes they have had open. They'll only have 2-3 lanes open with regular employees and then the You Scan at the end by the groceries. Like I began, Customer Service has been awesome the last couple visits. The lines at the registers has been awful. There have been two times in the last week that I've just set down my items I was going to purchase because I'm not gonna spend more time in line than I did shopping in the store.”

Turns out I had nothing to worry about. It also made me nervous because all of our communication was over text and I never met Asad, but I just think young people are more apt to do business that way. “I just moved into Pleasant Run in May ‘21, and very excited to make this my home for a while anyway. I like knowing that I’m the first resident of my home since this is a brand new facility. I chose the 3rd floor end unit to eliminate noise above and at least one side. I also like having better privacy from my balcony. My first impressions are positive of my apartment - everything is new, so things haven’t been used before. The grounds around the complex are a work in progress and will need attention, but given the pandemic, is understandable that they aren’t where they should be yet. It would be nice to have a small pond with fountain and a walking paved path around it with sitting benches. This would look nice in the large ground area sitting in front of the complex where just an open field currently sits. The facility offers activities to become more social with your neighbors if you choose. Each floor has something to offer. The first has the “club house” for social activities with a nice back patio and gas grill. The second floor has a fitness room and the third floor has a coffee shop. What drew me to Pleasant Run are the following: 1) 55+ age limit (Nothing against children at all, but like the quiet). 2) All utilities are included with rent which is very convenient. Only the WiFi is paid extra. 3) The complex is new. 4) It’s close to all your shopping needs. So, if Pleasant Run continues to offer the all inclusive utilities, amenities and keep the price in my budget, I can see myself living here for an extended time.”

“I drove from Franklin, it was about a 20 minute drive or so... when I first went in, I was hit with a very pungent smell that I did not like. It's like when you first walk into an Indian restaurant, and the odors hit you, but after the initial smell you aren't bothered by it anymore... it's just like that. Walking in, the smell was heavy and strong, but after about 5 minutes I no longer was bothered by it. They have a lot of dried and frozen stuff, and they have a fresh seafood and meat section too, as well as a food court area. It's not like the big Asian markets in NYC, but for a state like Indiana, it's actually not bad. They even had sea snails, which I was not expecting. The produce section was lacking though.”
