“I’ve driven by this place many times and decided I needed to stop in, especially after seeing the google reviews for it. I’ve never had Burmese food and thought it looked terrific. I was not disappointed!! I chose the Kyar San soup, which was a chicken based soup, and the Bak Kut Teh, which was a pork dish (fall off the bone super tender). I also got a side of rice. Amazing depth of flavor, so satisfying. Definitely will return. If you haven’t tried it before, give this place a try.”

“Absolutely delicious! This was our 1st time ever eating Chick-A-Boom and I would highly recommend trying it! So so good! And the restaurant in which I purchased was absolutely awesome for their kind service, and for letting I and my little girl sit quietly by ourselves in the back and served us chips, salsa and a coke for FREE while we waited for our food! In which they didn’t have to do! But did it just to be nice! So while we waited for our delicious, fresh,hot yummy food, my daughter and I got to hang out and just enjoy each other’s company which made the wait time so worth it! Truly meant a lot! I highly recommend this place not just for the delicious food but also for great AMAZING SERVICE, in which is so very rare and hard to find these days! “1/21/22 Today my sister and I went back again for broccoli soup. The cashier, Joanne, was super nice and so helpful. She (Joanne) is so pleasant. Not so with the woman fixing the soup. She had a really bad attitude. Her name was Camille and should not be in a service industry. Also, our broccoli soup was just lukewarm. “I saw a wrestling event here so this review is for the building itself. Lots of free parking in large grassy field, fairly easy to get to (just a cpl miles off the freeway), decent suburban part of town near plenty of restaurants and gas stations. Building interior was well lit (no flickering or missing bulbs), clean (I sat on the floor through a lot of the show and wasn't disgusted or worried about getting filthy) and modern (metal walls with sound-proofing foam sprayed on the interior). Bathrooms were functional and sufficient. No specific area for concessions or merch tables, but the room was large enough that each could be set up in a corner and there still be plenty of room left over. The trade-off is there wasn't much character to the place. It was just a big, sort of bland and sterile, white room; which is kind of the point I guess. It is what it is.”

My best friend took me out to cheer me up and let me just tell you that's exactly what happened. I walked away from this joint with all smiles. Our cook was enthusiastic and smiley. He went around our table and tried to make everyone catch a piece of vegetable in our mouths. We all failed miserably!!! But that was the whole fun in it!! Laughing with people you don't even know and people you love. The fire show and watching them cook in front of you offers a complete amount of pleasure and satisfaction I can't even begin to explain. Its so amazing. The food tasted exquisite. The shrimp and steak perfectly done to my liking and the rice was beautifully glistening underneath. I couldn't be more happy and my stomach was for sure pleased. I definitely recommend friends and family to go to Kauto Japanese Steak House if you have never been. You will not be disappointed!”
