Inside the small business there is an amazing opportunity to strengthen your body as well as improve your flexibility and balance. Laura and Claudia are well trained, knowledgeable and professional yet are also encouraging, caring, and fun. They have rare offerings of FMS and ARX that are very different from many other training facilities. I had my first visit with Claudia today and she put me through an array of exercises that really showed me that I had much work ahead of me! Claudia’s evaluation gave us a starting place, and we had a long discussion about how I was doing, where I needed to improve, and outlined a plan specifically for me based on the results obtained. I look forward to my first visit with Laura in a few days. I can tell that this will be an exciting journey and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead!”

“Dr. Jeff DeWester is a very talented physician. I highly recommend Dr. Jeff, because he has several important characteristics: 1. He listens. 2. He cares. 3. He's intelligent and stays up-to-date. 4. He treats people as individuals. He knows how to assess the medical research literature and to think and then make adjustments to care when what is most commonly done isn’t quite working. 5. Did I say he listens? I mean he *really* listens. He knows the medical field doesn’t (and can’t) know everything, and so he is attentive when people report symptoms or problems that are uncommon. He’s *not* the kind of physician that waves his hand and says, “Your concern makes no sense. X can’t cause Y.” 6. He makes sure the patient is onboard with the plan. I myself have a few things that help me in this assessment of Dr. Jeff: 1. I am an MD researcher. I do not see patients, but I do research. I know what it means to assess research and look for important study details that have been missed or misinterpreted. 2. I have had some of the medical problems Dr. Jeff treats and so I have first-hand knowledge of his abilities. 3. I have known Dr. Jeff for decades because he is my brother-in-law. I’ve seen him in action for a long time. You can definitely trust his medical judgment. I strongly recommend Dr. Jeff. He’s very, very good.”

“If you have astigmatism, Dr Brian Swift is your doc! I haven’t had a better experience anywhere else. As someone with astigmatism, he was great at explaining the challenges with astigmatism and different ways to correct it. Prior to this, my doctors would just tell me that my astigmatism is really bad without an explanation; I always had trouble with contacts, halos, pain, and red rings around my eyes. Dr. Swift was able to explain why finding the right contacts for astigmatism can be tricky and that it might take a couple tries to find the right prescription. It’s only been a few days, but I think this first pair is going better than my previous prescriptions.. time will tell… I’m amazed! He is great at efficiently explaining in a way that’s understandable without over-explaining. The best! It took less time for all of the exam aspects (eye glass, retinal imaging, contacts, etc) than my previous place of choice… and I left with more knowledge!! Will be sticking with this doctor.”

“This is a friendly local Indian supermarket with a restaurant available in the back of the shop. On the grocery store side, there is a nice selection of frozen Indian breads and samosas, Indian flours, many of which are gluten-free (including chick pea flour and water chestnut flour), Indian spices, teas, cosmetics and Ayurvedic supplements. There is a small selection of produce as well. Our personal favorites included Ginger-Gur (Palm Sugar) cookies, excellent Wagh Bakri tea, and frozen Methi Paratha Indian bread. At the checkout area, there is a selection of homemade Indian fudges. Healthier and not as sweet as American fudges, they are made with a variety of ingredients (try the cashew flour fudge!) and I have tried them all without any disappointments. In the back of the shop, you can order curries, chai, paratha breads, samosas and other Indian specialties at a much lower price than you would pay in a fancy Indian restaurant. Be warned, the dining room is very simple and occasionally a bit rough looking (like some restaurants I actually visited in India, itself). Pro Tip: You might choose to carry out your food rather than eating it in the shop. And I think avoiding the restrooms, when possible, would be advisable, as well Highly recommended for dining, shopping and especially for the Indian Barfi fudge”
