“A very Bible centered body of believers with godly leadership, focused on Christ's finished work on the cross and His Resurrection that gives the believer hope in eternal life while at the same time, elevating our Creator to the boundless glory only He is worthy of. There are no frills here or false/prosperity gospel messages given in this church... those things you will have to seek elsewhere. The Word of God is faithfully preached by men who understand fully the need to repent and believe while at the same time, admitting their own flesh is constantly at war with the spirit. There is no provision for legalism or condescension here. Only the exhortation of one to examine one's own heart and to apply the light of the Gospel of grace and mercy from a holy God to their own walk and being conformed to Christ, so that others might see His glory reflected in His children and be drawn to the only One Who can save us from our sin. I've never felt embarrassed or belittled here, only convicted of my own sin and need for daily (if not continual) repentance and trusting in God's promises to complete the work He has begun. But it doesn't stop there: whenever I seek the support I've needed to follow through with the sanctification process, it's been available to me, praise God! "Iron sharpens iron..." is alive and well at BBC. No church is perfect but this one is a very good example of what the body of Christ should look like and be like.”
