“Easy trail with really great views of the Mackinaw River. Depending on which route you take there is a bit of elevation gain and loss. Perfect for family hiking. A standard two mile hike can be made longer depending on how much exploring you want to do. A lot of time can be spent by the river and on little side trails. There are quite a few sandbars that can be accessed in lower water level times directly of of trails. Very pretty scenery. A perfect place to take the family. Though, no dogs allowed. Pretty hard to get lost here, as the trails are clear and well marked. Highly recommended.”
