They teach nutrition, hydration, food intake, timing of eating, portion control, good food vs not so good food; & tailor exercises to help me achieve my personal goals and support me with a mentally positive attitude. The class times & location are very good too. I’ve stepped up to semi private classes from the group classes to achieve my goals sooner (since summer is almost here!) I highly recommend GCP as it’s been a great experience and best of all everyone is friendly and has a positive attitude no matter what your experience level is or what you are personally trying to achieve! The community at every workout is great and the training feels like a "team," even if everyone is doing a different exercise in the circuit. The staff do a phenomenal job of motivating you to go harder but also making sure you know your workout limits and don't push yourself beyond your limit. “I had the privilege of training with Casey Tiesman for the better part of a year and a half during my time as a D1 baseball player. That year I was able to post a 2.5 ERA across 11 starts and 70+ innings. Casey helped me stay healthy throughout that year and helped me to perform at my peak. Since then 8 of his athletes, from that program were drafted. Casey is a fantastic problem solver and coach. He genuinely cares about what he is doing with every single athlete. This along with his background as a Marine makes him a clear standout as a performance coach. His ability to help athletes grow and develop is rare. He will challenge those with him to perform to his standard, which is second to none. The drive that he has carries into his athletes at all levels. His understanding of the strength needs for baseball athletes is deep. If you are looking to get seen or be a somebody, you need to develop. Casey will definitely do that. “DO IT! JOIN THE FUN! Monkey Aerial Arts is a great space to try something new. Safety here is #1 and you can tell as such by the way you learn moves, the instructions you receive, and the rules of the gym. I love that aerial has given me a new way to challenge my body - new muscles and flexibility I didn't know I could still achieve as an adult. It's also a mental challenge to get you to do something that can be scary, but ultimately so rewarding! Can we also talk relationships? Camaraderie here is important and we all build on each others' success so why not cheer each other on? Our gym has become a happy place for me, a small escape from the chaos of life where we try fun, new things and make each other laugh and feel better from whatever the day held for us before class. And how could I ever do something so challenging, and continue to do it, if I didn't wholeheartedly trust the instructor? When you're upside-down or high above the ground, trust in your instructor is imperative. Tera has helped me learn patience with myself, trust in my ability, and faith in what is possible.
