“I dined by myself and sat at the bar. The bar was fairly full. The bartender greeted me in a prompt manner and was friendly. I asked her for drink specials, which she relayed accurately. She was very attentive and handled multiple customers very professionally. Great upbeat atmosphere and the food I ordered was generously portioned and delicious. A definite good family friendly neighborhood bar worth visiting.”

“I visited this Panda location on my way home today. Usually I visit either the Crystal Lake or the Algonquin location but the employees and their attitude at those locations has annoyed me to the point where I made sure to stop at the Huntley location today. The place was packed as there was a fundraiser going on but the employees made sure to be very quick while still very courteous and they definitely had a great attitude about being at work. I spoke with a younger girl who's name I unfortunately did not catch but she was wonderful and made sure I was taken care of and knew the expected wait time for a new batch of items to come out. I also interacted with Karina who was absolutely fabulous. She appeared to be in a very pleasant mood and let me know that they want to make sure their customers are satisfied with their complete service and food received as this location won't be successful without it's customers. The food tasted very delicious and was exactly what we expected to receive in our order. There have been many times where I get home from the other before-mentioned locations and a side sauce has been missing or half the food fell out because the box wasn't closed or other issues have occurred. This was definitely not the experience with the Huntley Panda location. I will definitely be returning to this location, even if it's not always in my way home, just so I can experience the positive attitude these employees shared and have my order given to me correctly.”

“As a Taco Bell, I rate this one 5 stars. I am mostly a Taqueria patron, so can't justify more than 4. They are the cleanest one around, very modern (fairly new construction), and always fast and courteous. They also honor Veterans with a discount, not all do. If I am going to a Taco Bell, I would go out of my way for this one.”

“Wife and I went here for dinner Wednesday evening about 5. I had the vegetarian fajitas and my wife had the fish tacos. We were both full when we left. There were plenty of vegetables in my dish; mushrooms, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, a little tomato; all sautéed perfectly to my taste. The sides were good if typical, but the salsa is excellent. My wife loves fish tacos and these were very much to her liking! By the way, the refried beans tasted homemade, the way they should. I think we will be returning, especially if they have open air seating at some point.”

“Beautiful restaurant. This is exactly what Huntley needed. As everyone knows, Huntley is heavy on comfort food, bars, and restaurants where you order at the counter. It had not been so good for places to take a date, your grandma, the whole family, or go with colleagues after work. Casa Rubi-os helps fill that gap. Sure, they have a full bar. But this isn't a bar. You get service at the table. You can hear the person with whom you're talking. It's also tastefully decorated. Love it.”
