“I have been coming to Brookfield Zoo since I was child. Now I'm older and come when I want. I have a membership, which I recommend if you visit often. I like to go during the week right when it opens at 10a because it's less busy and I can really enjoy each animal. Parking is $15 for both the North and South entrance. If it's your first time visiting I suggest the North gate. If you aren't looking for a long walk from your car to the entrance I suggest the south entrance. Either way you will enjoy yourself once you're inside.”

“Wonderful FREE zoo! This zoo has so much going for it. Indoor and outdoor animals, informative and interactive exhibits, a carousel, farm area, beautiful pond and so much more. They are doing construction to improve it and make it even better. The location is wonderful as well, right off the lake. Great for families. The zoo is free but there IS a parking fee.”

“This is a great place within the zoo for smaller kids to run off some steam. There are lots of different rooms for kids to 'play' zoo keeper, do crafts, water plants, dig in sand, pet some animals and more. My 2 and 4 year old love to visit. I love to go especially in hot, cold, or rainy weather.”

“The primate house homes half a dozen gorillas along with their alpha. During the winter they are indoors and can be viewed up close on the other side of the glass enclosements. During warmer weather they are outside in the playgrounds and harder to spot.”
