“Great service and communication. I would highly recommend them (I worked with Charles) My parked car was rear-ended by a delivery truck trying to make an illegal U-turn. I contacted Tesla Collision, send photos of the damage and they were able to get me a prelim estimate within 1-2 business days which I submitted to the insurance company. I dropped the car off and they provided me with updates Monday Wednesday Friday via text. They arranged for the local enterprise to come pick me up on arrival so I can get my rental car. This particular shop had the earliest availability in the Chicago land area by at least 2-3 weeks. Some Tesla approved collision centers are booked out over 4-5 months. The whole job took about 2.5-3 weeks, which is really good for this car and this climate of supply chain issues. Just as an FYI: some insurances don't work w/ Tesla (as they charge a higher premium for hourly rates). Specifically GEICO doesn't work with them unless the customer wants to pay for the difference out of pocket. They do work well w/ Traveler's.”

Their estimate was very fair and best of all the price didn't change after the job was done. I dropped off my car overnight which was convenient since I work during their same working hours and they had my car ready the next day by afternoon. When I dropped my car off I was really only expecting them to repair the damage but they went above my expectations and actually cleaned up my car real nice and filled my tires with air. “I discovered German auto repair a couple of years ago and wish I would have found them sooner. I had always taken my mercedes to the dealer for service but after years of being overcharged and often them not even fixing the problem, I searched for an independent import service shop and found German Auto. This father and son owned repair shop is simply fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Sam and Sam Jr as well as entire staff. I have had work done here numerous times over the past couple of years and again just a few days ago. Work done to perfection, done same day, and done for less than half of what dealer would charge. My recent work of replacing motor mounts and new complete brake job replacing pads and rotors was done to perfection!!!! Car drives and feels like it's brand new!!!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!”

I had a cracked wheel; was given the option of repairing or replacing. Their replacement cost was 1/2 that of the dealership. Tires were also worn and at end of life. Their prices for the same tires were ~500 cheaper than Costco. Add excellent customer service to that and you can't go wrong.”
