Everyone really enjoyed their choices. The meat was tender with lots of flavor. There are plenty of tables but I've seen instances where different parties may eat together.”

Pounders Restaurant

Address: 55-370 Kamehameha Hwy, Laie, HI 96762, USA

Restaurant

“Made a reservation with OpenTable and was able to get seated right when we arrived at the restaurant. Very nice and clean restaurant. The staff were also very kind and accommodating. The food was nothing to write home about, it felt like very generic food that you can get from any major chain restaurant with a Hawaii theme sprinkled on top. Their housemaid drinks were pretty good. We were too full to try their dessert menu but it looked good on the displays.”

Seven Brothers - Laie

“Great food! Not fast food. The large bags of fresh potatoes & onions in the back is a clue as to how fresh the food is! Several people in front of us ordered big orders to go. Family owned and operated. Not elegant, but well worth the stop for an excellent burger!”

Timo ( the owner) made sure not only we get our food quickly (as kids were hungry) but he sat down with us and told us his amazing journey from NZ, to Melbourne to Hawaii. Hopefully we will see more of his trucks open in mainland US soon. He told me Florida and NY are next.”

Guadalajara Grill Hawaii

Address: 55-370 Kamehameha Highway Hukilau Marketplace, Laie, HI 96762, USA

Restaurant

“Had lunch here as a quick option before spending the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It's part of the market area before the entrance which has a few other options to check out. The menu was labeled with what was vegetarian and gluten free so if you have those diets (which we did in our party) you go in knowing they are conscious of these things and you will be able to eat something. I had the Veggie Burrito which was hearty and good...I generally prefer pinto or refried beans, but neither of those are vegetarian here so had it with black beans. I was quite filled when it was done done and thought this had a nice authentic flavor to it. The person who took our order seemed awfully unhappy to be there which is not typical of Hawaii and bummed us out a little. This is a good quick stop (well it was quick for us...a bit a line developed after we ordered) before heading into the center for the day. There's plenty of seating behind the truck too.”
