“OMG! Never have I ever received so much food on my plate. I ordered the ox tails, peas and rice, with cabbage and plantains and my husband had the curry goat. We ate on these plates for 2 strong days with leftovers to throw away. The flavors were wonderful and the portions were huge. Had we wanted the same thing, we could've shared one plate and still had some for later. Let's not forget the lemonades they have fresh and true to the culture. Amazing! I can't even remember what flavor I had but again my husband had something different from me and it was great also. Stop by and try this place out if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.”

The food reminds me of the Taquerias in Texas, incredibly fresh, the lengua was very tender and juicy. I will be back. I go here for lunch a couple times a month on Taco Tuesday! “Had a very enjoyable 8 course tasting with wine pairings that were excellent with each course. It was great to sit in the chef's seating and watch the preparation and plating of the presentations, as the dishes were each tastefully designed and artfully presented. Surprisingly, as a die-hard meat lover, my favorite was the asparagus dish. The added truffle risotto course was also exceptional. I enjoyed the urban chic atmosphere and highly recommend Lazy Betty with plans to return in the near future.”

We both ordered the two eggs and bacon breakfast. The cooks got right on it and the restaurant was packed. The food came fast. We were so hungry I was done eating before I remembered to take pictures for my review. That food was hot and good. They gave good portions. The food tastes home-cooked and not artificial. The waitress was very friendly with a great personality! Our meal was under $20. This is a smoke-free environment. Great for kids and the entire family. There is plenty of parking! “A great experience for anyone celebrating a life accomplishment! I took my mom to celebrate her retirement and they were so sweet to her! April was very nice and Bridgitte was an entertaining MC for sure! As advertised, this show was for a mature audience comfortable with a little vulgarity and a lot of good-natured teasing. “I’ve started to work my way at trying different Jamaican spots around DeKalb. Red Hills Jerk did not disappoint. I had the “small” plate (which is plenty) for $10 and it came with everything in the picture minus the beef paddy. Yes, they do charge a 4% card fee so bring some cash to save some cash. The staff were friendly and even offered what kind of sauce I wanted on the rice (ox tail sauce for me). This is not fast food. Plates take around 10-15 min to prepare, which is worth it for the quality you’re getting. Give this place a shot. The jerk is more on the spicy end but the jerk sauce balances it out nicely.”
