“When you think Café Food, Carol's is your place that you want to go. It's a wonderful little hole in the hall restaurant but they are worth your time to check out. My partner and I go there every so often when we want Café style food because we know what we are getting with Carol's and thats a good meal and awesome service. I love their chicken fried steak and my partner loves their hamburger steak. My partner and I have been to many of steak houses where she's ordered her steaks medium rare and they all have come medium well, every time she orders her hamburger steak at Carol's it's come out medium rare every single time. I'm big on consistency and Carol's has hit that mark every time. I would suggest checking them out. And as always be kind to the staff at any restaurant you go to they're hard workers like you and me.”

The bartender, a nice fellow with a funny and upbeat personality (sorry I forgot his name) recommended the chicken nachos. The chicken was seasoned verrrry good. Nachos needed more cheese but overall it was PERFECT for us ,while waiting till a pool table opened up. We waited about 45 min or so. There was a tournament going on.🤷♀️ The crowd on a Saturday night was relaxed and friendly. we sat at the bar and ate nachos and my bf drank (I had lemonade 🤣) Over all not bad for price. 9.99 I think for an hr. Me and my boyfriend played 2 games and left. Our waitress, a uoung gurl with blue streaks was always checking on us, I loved that. It was pretty late around 1am and the smoke smell in my clothes wasn't too bad. We'll be back.”

I’ve since moved away, but my family still lives in the area so I’ll come in from time to time with them. What I’ve always loved about this place is how consistent everything is and always has been. I recently came in November 2022. First thing I noticed was the menu had changed. My friends ordered some new stuff, which I thought was really great, but I noticed some of the staple foods on the menu I used to love are gone. It seems like the menu has shifted more towards a chilis type menu which was a real bummer. Not sure if this was part of new branding or ownership but I probably won’t go back in. The fajitas are gone and the salads took a few steps back.”
