“This is an amazing locally owned ice cream shop. Not in a tourist area, so for me I loved it. The service was friendly and very welcoming. It was my kind of vibes for sure. The ice cream was exactly what I needed on this hot day. I chose the Razzle Dazzle and my husband got the Pistachio, both waffle cones. So good 😋🍦 I also tried the Fat Elvis and it was tasty as well. She offered us as many samples as we liked, no rushing us, very laid back and catered to the customer experience.”

“When the old owners ran the joint they would look out and loan us a pack off smokes every now and then when we were short on cash. But moving back to South Daytona after nearly a decade I thought the new guys were insane to be selling novelty items. I thought the neighborhood was in trouble or something. But after getting to know them a little. Realizing they've tried to expand a business that was so small back when I was a pup that we weren't sure if they would stock Rolos again after a candy run. Ol' boy really looks out and tries to get to know you. He did me a solid and cashed back when the ATM froze up on me. The one thing I won't touch is their gaming machines. They look cool and all but I don't play the house when we're on good terms and I'm up a pack of smokes. Thanks for you courtesy and generosity.”

“Best little ice cream shop in the area! When you walk in you are always greeted by the owner. Prices are very reasonable. Today I had rainbow sherbet overflowing from my freshly made waffle cone all for less than $4. What a deal!! I love the feel of this little shop and variety of flavors including a wonderful no sugar added butter pecan! You wont be disappointed stopping by and enjoying "The Whole Scoop". Open daily 1 to 10pm.”
