“Love this place! However they keep it too cold so remember to bring a jacket. The food is always delicious and portions are large. There is a small inside restaurant upstairs and a small outside restaurant downstairs but both have a wonderful view of the beach as it sits on the beach. This is a place we love to go to when we want to sit and have a beer and snack while watching the waves. Great food, great view, great service, great prices. This is a must visit restaurant.”

“I have visited many shelters in the past month and this by far was the nicest shelter I have visited. We were greeted very nicely, and then taken and shown where the doggos were. Although we did not find our new family member at this particular humane society, I still highly recommend it. We were also thanked for coming in and welcomed visit again. I really liked the fact that they had rooms for meet and greets and then you could take outside, if wanted. The place was very clean and organized. Thank you Halifax Humane Society for doing what you do!”

“My daughter and I grabbed lunch and just set in the parking lot with all our car windows down taking in the fresh cool salty Sea air. It was so relaxing but surprisingly few people were at the beach hanging out that afternoon. The weather was beautiful and the children were laughing and playing at the water splash park and on the playground. People were just chilling. It really is a great place to have fun and enjoy the Florida ????. Check it out and have a family picnic. Yes, Sun Splash Park has a small picnic area with grills. Enjoy!”

“I've been camping here for years, starting when my sons were little. Quiet little primitive camping spot with HUGE sites set in a beautiful oak hammock. Some could easily hold 5-10 tents. There are only 6 spots and they are far enough apart that it seems like you are by yourself (sites are on average 50-100 yards from each other. Bathrooms could be better, but compared to the Porto-potty they used to have, they are adequate. Bring everything you need, including firewood...none can be scavenged from the woods. Never had any trouble with either the people or the animals, but I have seen a bear or two while hiking.”

“We’re working our way back south to our home and we stopped for the night at a campground in Daytona. When I walked into the office to check in, there was a ski cap on the counter so I told the woman that I loved it, because I could tell that it was handmade. She told me to take it if I wanted it because she said she made lots of mistakes on it and then proceeded to show me all of the things wrong with it. I gladly accepted it and told her that if she hadn’t have showed me I would have never noticed it. I love my new hat. ???????????????? IMG_0792.JPG”

“I actually was at Blue Springs State Park. We had a great 4th of July week there camping. I took my dogs and they were not freaked out due to fireworks. There were lots of places close by that had a firework show we could go see. It was very hot so the cool float down the springs was terrific. Recommend this campground.”
