Dr. Kirsh performed his first TPLO a year ago, and unfortunately he needed the other knee repaired almost exactly one year later. We couldn’t be happier with his recovery and he is back to his favorite activity, frisbee in the pool!”

“Whitney was recommended to us when we moved here, we had a horse that was suffering from several life threatening issues and she was quick to respond. “For 8 years, we’d been taking our 4 dogs to get their annual shots and heart worm tests and meds here. They had the best prices in town and saved us thousands over that time period. The vets and techs were always friendly and got us out quickly. Then Covid hit and they’ve disappeared. So sad, now I have to take my dogs to the regular vet, which costs more. Hope they get things back on track soon. On a personal note, some of the negative reviews here are ridiculous. We’re in a pandemic, people. That’s why they’re not responding. They’re closed!”

“I can't say enough about this place. My Golden Retriever had to have emergency surgery in the early hours of the morning on a Tuesday and was in the hospital for about 10 days after. Even during an incredibly scary time, I felt so much peace about his care. The staff are so compassionate and understanding. They truly care about your pet and treat them as their own. They updated me regularly, answered all of my questions attentively, and gave me thorough discharge instructions when it was finally time to take him home. I knew he was getting the best possible care and the whole time I was nothing short of impressed. They saved my dog's life and gave us so many more years with him. I am forever grateful and can give nothing but high recommendations.”

“I have been practicing Veterinary Medicine for more than 30 years, the last 32 here on the gulf coast. I have had the opportunity to work with many veterinary specialists. Most all of the boarded specialist I know put in long hours and place their patients as a high priority, However, Dr. Ward goes beyond that commitment. She is the ONLY BOARDED SPECIALIST I know who works holidays and weekends when, due to challenges beyond her control, she was unable to keep up with her work load. When her colleagues reach out with a question or urgent issue her schedule may be fully booked, even double or triple booked, and she still will tell us send them over. Recently she was working very short staffed because of COVID but she didn't just close her doors and cancel appointments she adjusted her schedule, reached out to her colleagues to see if anyone could spare some of their staff, and saw patients all week and on both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately when we "general practitioners" want to refer our patients for specialty consults or second opinions we are often told the first availability might be weeks or sometimes months away. Dr. Ward has never put any of my patients in limbo like that. Often she is able to give us the help we need with just a phone consult or a review of the patients data. Helping many people's fur babies get the help they need in a timely fashion. She is one of the most fairly price specialty practice in our area. . By the way she also saw patients on Labor Day. Most Veterinarians work hard to maintain work life balance and often give more than what is healthy to give of themselves but Dr. Ward does this to an extreme. “After visiting an emergency vet on a Sunday evening, I learned I had no choice but to euthanize my beloved dog, Skiba. In desperation, but with hope my dog could return to the comfort of his home before passing, I reached out to numerous, in-home euthanasia providers. Among the dozens of providers who were understandably unavailable to take calls prior to Monday morning, I found Dr. Swanson, who responded to my plea after 9:00 pm on a Sunday evening. Because of Dr. Swanson's response, Skiba was able to travel home and spend his final moments surrounded by the people he loved and doing his favorite things. Had Dr. Swanson not responded, I would have followed the emergency vet's advice to euthanize him that evening and our family would have missed out on making final memories at home with our boy, Skiba. Dr. Swanson and Dr. Ying traveled outside of their county to put Skiba to rest within his home. They were kind, empathetic, and all-around outstanding. I had a previous pet of mine euthanized within our home and was very satisfied with that vet's service, but Dr. Swanson and Dr. Ying were even more remarkable - they responded to my request well outside of normal business hours, traveled beyond a reasonable distance, and showed genuine compassion while they were within our home. The gift of time, comfort, and closure they provided our family is invaluable and one for which I will forever be grateful. They are selfless people and have my highest level of recommendation.”
