However, the chicken wrap that I ordered was just okay and did not seem to be the restaurant's specialty. Despite this, I would definitely recommend stopping by for the wedge salad alone. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly service as well. Overall, a good experience.”

“Juan’s is a casual dinning experience. Walk up to the counter and tell them what you would like. I got the tacos with chips and salsa, one chicken and one black bean. They have 3 salsas, hot, medium and mild. Mild is very mild so if you like a little spice go for medium. The food was very fresh including fresh cut cilantro which I loved! Fast and friendly service. “Believe all the 5-Star reviews! Wanted good Mexican food after a day on Honeymoon Island and found this place. It’s in a strip mall next to a bingo hall, but don’t let that turn you away. The quality of food, choices, and service were all stellar. I had enchiladas and my wife had a vegetable quesadilla. We also had an order of their homemade guacamole, which was amazing. Our happy energetic server brought out the customary complimentary basket of chips with salsa, but the chips were anything but customary. They were the best homemade Mexican restaurant chips that we have ever had… crispy, fresh, had that unmistakable freshly made authentic on the spot flavor, and not at all greasy - simply perfect. The bathrooms at this restaurant were impeccably clean and had beautiful Mexican art ceramic wash bowls. I poked my head into the order counter and gave the cooks and kitchen staff a thumbs-up. They were all smiling and humbled in receiving the compliment.”

The beers on tab were fresh and rich.started with the tuna ahi as an appetizer then I had the southwest salmon sandwich and she had the scallop wrap. As a chef, I wanted to grasp what was a popular dish and ordered a dish for myself that brought me back to a comfort home reminder! The fried chicken W/gravy and biscuits. It was delicious and filling. Yet I gravitated to the other plates that were brought to our table and found the Chilean sea bass to be the superior shining light of this restaurants offerings! If you’re in Laguna Beach I strongly suggest stopping here as the appetizers itself are filling enough and delicious also. “Great place in Dunedin, very accommodating staff and great food! Our party of 6 people plus our sweet Golden Retriever pup rolled up to Hog Island Fish Camp in Dunedin last night. We didn't have a reservation and were told there was no room that night. Thankfully the Manager, Heather, stepped in and saved the day! Heather went out of her way to move some reservations around and seat us in a cozy corner on the porch. Sue took care of service for our fantastic dinner. Sue was very attentive, kind and had a handle on every tasty course. We had never tried Hogfish before, it's excellent if you have the chance.
