“Great little gem on the edge of the Everglades. Torry Island is actually a series of small islands inside the rim canal on the southeast corner of Lake Okeechobee. Lots of wildlife to see with a neat hiking trail and observation tower. Golf course and fishing are nearby. The City of Belle Glade has been steadily updating the sites and making improvements. Some may be turned off by the Belle Glade address, but I assure you this feels worlds away. The staff is friendly and makes every effort to accommodate its guests. We've met and gotten to know a lot of nice people here.”

I've been going since I was about seven years old with my family. now I'm 35 and I have a family of my own and I take my children there. it's absolutely beautiful and a great time!
