“We stayed for 25 days… we called to reserve for this many days and they found us seven different spots! We didn’t mind moving as we met and made many friends. This is an “Old Keys” park with many long term residents and many RV spots. Bigger rigs will find it challenging, but when “Michael” is working you will do just fine fitting into your spot. The beach area is really nice…. with accommodation of chaise lounges and chairs. Sunsets are unbelievable.😎”

“After having to deal with living in a Sun Communities neighborhood it was such a pleasure to move to this neighborhood. The ownership is accommodating, responsive, friendly and actually cares about their residents. Hate that we had to leave the area and should we return we will be looking to come back to one of their locations. As with everything there were issues but they were dealt with correctly and in a timely manner. I really did not expect the owner to show up at 10pm on a Saturday to unclog a sewer line for us. Got it handled and replaced the drainage pipe the next day. Great people, great location and great residents. Hope to be back someday soon.”

“The BEST BEST BEST! My 2nd year. 2 months, then 3months. I wish I could stay year round! Beautiful spot on ocean. Cute sandy/beach area to hang out, with good people. Peaceful (55+ park); good wifi; clean (except when Nature decides otherwise = seaweed). Great folks. Owner Alex is invisible and very kind :-)”

“This place is a true gem. The location is beautiful and extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping and boating. It is a really nice community with a lovely marina. The real treasure here though are the ladies in the office. Ruth, Margaret and Martha are seriously wonderful. They always work hard to make you happy and you can tell they love what they do and they care about you. Could not recommend this place more. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!”

“I gave 5 stars really had no issues every person i ran into greeted us an was friendly. There was plenty of parking for an extra car. You can tell there is lots of construction which is fine there was just machinery and parts there was nothing going at the time of our stay. It does look a bit run down and even scary to some but let me assure you no one gave us any trouble. It really gave that feel of true living in the keys. We really were just wanting a place to hook up and sleep. A resort was not what we were looking for an Pelican Cay was a perfect match for us. They provided a place to park our RV hook up for couple nights and be on our way. Hands down the quietest place we have camped! We heard nothing but pure silence. Bathrooms an laundry have a code everything was clean. We had an RV so didnt need their showers or restrooms. Wifi was awesome my kids even got some homework done. Humberto helped guide us into our spot and was friendly. I think once all the construction is finished its going to look great! We definitely will be back next year!”
