I ordered the 3 Beef Birria Tacos and the Bacon Lover Corn in a Cup. Once I got home and settled, I opened the brown paper bag; the release of the aroma verified that this was going to be a delicious meal. And it was. I'm not one to stand around taking pictures of food, and I'm suspicious and picky. Quality, taste, cost, and presentation are characteristics often at odds when it comes to eating out. Carefully packaged, budget friendly, aromatic and savory, and high quality ingredients have turned Elote Lovers into a favorite. It was such a triumph for the tastebuds that I sent a pic of the finish line to my sisters!”

“The food and service was great. The local sushi speciality rolls contained cream cheese which was different from the New Hampshire sushi I'm used to. Nonetheless, the sushi was good. The atmosphere was very pleasantly decorated, and the tables were very clean. We were seated very quickly and the food arrived in a timely manner piping hot. Food was out fast and the fried mix seafood dish was pretty good where everything was fried just right even the calamari. The ceviche was great it had such a fresh taste and the lemonade was handmade. Only complaints are that I only got 2 fried shrimps in the mix & the food was a bit pricey.”

“We stopped by Shiver's BBQ for lunch and ordered sandwiches (pulled pork, brisket, and a hickory BBQ hamburger). All were delicious, especially the pulled pork. It's outstanding! There was also a very good selection of sides, and each side was comfort food at its best. We enjoyed BBQ beans, hush puppies, cheesy hashbrown casserole, cornbread souffle', and jalapeno cheese grits. Each side tasted homemade and full of flavor. Shiver's isn't a fancy kind of place. Guests are seated at long picnic-style tables with rolls of paper towels and barbecue sauces placed atop. So, leave your fancy clothes at home and just enjoy Shiver's for what it is: great food in a very casual, comfortable setting. Our server was very friendly and attentive and prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. We loved having lunch here!”

Nice clean tables with shade umbrellas and lights and palm trees, very pretty setting. Say hello to the chickens that are roaming around. They take your order and you relax while you wait.
