“The restaurant is a great place to eat! We were greeted at the door and sat at a table right away. Our server Susana was very nice nd helpes us with the menu as this was our first time. Once the food got to our table it looked amazing. I had the waffle and put my crispy bacon on top, just try it. The manager Derek checked on us and made sure everything was perfect. The bathroom was also clean like the rest of the place. 10 out of 10 excellent customer service. will be coming back again!!”

“The food itself was extremely delicious. It was flavorful and not overly spicy. The salsa was homemade and delicious. It had a terrific consistency and was not watery. The chips were fresh. The chicken taco was crunchy and delicious but was a little dry. The burrito and enchilada were fantastic. The iced tea came from a gun and tasted like melted plastic. I then requested water which was good. The service was great. The server was polite, professional and attentive. The location was very clean and extremely well maintained.”

“We visited for the first time, took us a bit to go over the menu ( there are so many great options). The 4 of us got different things to taste test each other's and was not disappointed. The foods ordered were the colossal babe grilled cheese ( fried egg and bacon) with fries. Assassin burger with tots, cheese steak with tots, steak Mac and cheese and chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the bradentucky hot dog. Everything was very good. A couple of personal preference things for myself would be more seasoning to the chicken in the Alfredo, dice up onions on the dog so when you take a bite you don't pull everything off whole. The tots were really good and me not being a big fry person loved the hand cut fries! We will be going back to try other menu offerings! Whoever helped us at the counter they were very patient with us and helpful when we asked about the items we were looking at.”

“The chicken and waffles were great, and the meat was juicy and delicious. The syrup/hot sauce combo was okay; I think it’s better with just the regular syrup. Biscuits and gravy are hard to mess up, but they did an excellent job making the biscuits go perfectly with the sausage gravy; I was a big fan of the texture and how it paired with the chicken. My dining experience was nice too, the retro look and prompt service gave the spot a cozy feel to it. Steven was my server and he was respectful and quick to tend to my needs!”

“I went in Thursday and was offered a sample of chicken because of my “Think Happy Thoughts” shirt, the cashier was so nice to me and had no clue the kind of day I was having. He offered me a whole chicken wing and French fries as a sample saying you had to have fuel for happy thoughts, the interaction alone made my day. After getting in the car I tried the chicken and OMG, so good! I’ve found a new lunch spot going through Lakewood Ranch. Thank you all so much for your continuous kindness and yummy food.”

“I eat here two or three times a week. The food is always great and the staff super friendly. Who doesn’t love crispy fresh cut French fries. I am a huge fan of the garlic bomb fries topped with garlic bomb steak and cheese. So good! I bring my sister in from Texas every year and this is her favorite place to eat. “I was referred here by my therapist. I’ve never done any sort of acupuncture before, but this location made me feel very safe and welcomed to the entire practice. This was kind of a last resort thing because I have been experiencing chronic neck and back pain for 2 years now due to prolonged sitting on the computer / piano when everything went virtual because of COVID. I’ve done epidural injections, trigger point injections, taken a wide range of medications, attended physical therapy for awhile, and still saw myself experiencing an immense amount of pain. I use to experience pain levels of an 7-8 on a scale from 1-10 constantly in my upper back and neck / base of skull. After about 2 months of going twice a week and including cupping in the routine, the highest pain level I’ve been at in the past few weeks is a 3. It takes consistency to see results, but trust me, they will come if you stay dedicated! I also go to the chiropractor in conjunction to the acupuncture. I’ve been able to sit longer and more frequently with no pain at all. It’s important to stay stretching everyday along with this care and drink lots of water! The well-being of your entire body is taken into account here as well. I was experiencing a lot of vocal fatigue recently, as I am currently in a musical and attend college for musical theatre; however, when we focused on my voice recently, the care here has helped reduce the inflammation of my vocal chords. They really want to help you here, and they’re extremely supportive along the way! The entire experience itself is surprisingly painless and actually very very relaxing. You really have to give it a shot if you experience chronic pain. I’ve seen a huge decrease in my stress levels as well throughout my time here. It’s worth the drive!”

“Edit (11/2021): I’m delighted to say their staffing issues have been resolved. Sure, they still need some training, but they have enough help to handle the business again. We’ve been back several times over the past couple of months, and never had an issue. Edit(early 2021): we’ve been weekly regulars here for four years. During the Covid fiasco they were still our favorite take out. The past few months however, the service had gone so far through the toilet, we have to debate whether or not to go. The food is still fantastic, but it’s hard to spend our evening out here anymore. Original review: After two years this is still or favorite place to go for a light meal. The Florida Roll is fantastic. Sashimi is a little pricey, but all the food is very good.”
