“I was a little hesitant to book this hotel because some of the reviews I saw, but when looking at other sites with different reviews I decided to go for it. For the price, it is a very decent stay. The lobby area is great, updated and modern. The breakfast is great. The room was clean. My only complaint would be the bathtub. Definitely need to get the housekeepers to clean that way better. (Here are some tips that work: put vinegar in a ziplock bag and put the shower head in it…tie at top with a rubber band and let it sit. Use mold and mildew on the tile grout…follow instructions on bottle. For the tub use Barkeeper’s…follow instructions. The tub will sparkle). If you’re on the fence about it…I will say it was a very decent stay for the price. Go for it!”

“We really enjoyed this hotel. The positives: It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The pool is amazing and the hot tub was hot. The breakfast was good too. The negatives: There is a coin laundry, but the hotel does not have a change machine and refuses to give change for cash at the front desk. We were in the area for hurricane relief and my cousin (local to Fort Myers) needed to be able to do laundry after a week of no power after the hurricane. The guy at the front desk told us maybe we could go to the gas station. If there is no change machine and the hotel won't provide change, why have coin laundry machines? That makes no sense. Also, the fridge in our room did not work. We stayed for 2 nights and I tried turning the knob up the first night, and down the 2nd night. No luck. All our food went bad and the fridge smelled horrific. I told the girl at the front desk and she literally rolled her eyes at me and told me it probably wasn't set correctly. No apology or effort at customer service, no maintenance note, nothing. Just cynicism.”

“Another person recommended this place for me. Me and my wife are still looking around for a vacation home. After contact the office online, I spoke with a manager named Dave. I have to say, Dave is a very respectful man and he was very accommodating on all of my questions and was able to book us for an appointment. After meeting and seeing the community in-person, I can say that this is a wonderful place with lots of nice views. I like that it is 55+ and it feels very quaint, not too much noise going around. With that said, I hope this manager gets paid good, because he really went above and beyond despite only having a few homes left to sell. We may come back a second time to make that choice”

“Timber lane is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It's Beautiful here tucked back in nature. Wonderful heated! pool area. Having a clean laundry room right off the pool is excellent! you can swim while you do laundry. Lisa (owner) and her parents Steve & Deb went above and beyond my expectations. They knew I was a RV newbie and they helped set me up too perfection! made sure I had what I needed and was set up properly. They gave me excellence advice and tips. Lisa has a whole list of local restaurants, retail shops etc. Could recommend good Rv technicians even local dentists. I asked about a chiropractor, she had one. I feel very safe here and It already feels like home. Oh and I can't forget about my Awesome neighbors. Love and Gratitude”

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. We booked our stay for next year and are thinking about at least two months if not more. Restaurants and grocery shopping are nearby.”
