“We stayed at Seahorse and Starfish, and we could not have been happier! We rented both units - our travel party included my husband and I with our 7 year old, my brother and sister-in-law, and my parents. Everything was clean and in great working order, and there were plenty of towels and clear instructions on how to use everything. Beach gear was great to have (chairs, umbrellas, wagons) and there were floats for the pool too! The pool and spa are the stars of this property - what a beautiful outdoor oasis! Super close to the beach and the trolley stop as well. We would for sure stay again!”

“Absolute gem of a place that really has the “old Florida” feel that the island is missing these days w all the new massive homes going up. The location is unbeatable w walking to shops and restaurants and the beach a 30 second walk away. The landscaping really gives you a private and tropical oasis feel. And w the pool right out your front door this place can’t be beat. The units are stocked well and has the old Florida charm that we so appreciate. Everything was clean and to our liking. Will definitely book again.”

“Cloud 9 did not disappoint! The pictures do not do the house justice! The house was so clean upon arrival. WE had everything in the kitchen we needed! The kids loved the Golf Cart that was included. There were sand toys, and pool toys in the garage. SO many great things about this house! The very few times we needed to contact management they got back to use within 5 minutes.”

“Pretty nice place. Little changes could make a good experience, great. They don't allow smoking in rooms, but smoking on the balconys makes sitting outside and enjoying yourself impossible for a non smoker/someone with breathing issues. Multiple times we were sitting outside relaxing and people would start smoking and force us inside. The front of the building has no windows so would be ideal for a smoking area. The cleanliness could be slightly better. It wasn't gross by any means, but things are dusty and the ac vents hadn't been cleaned. I don't want to sit or breathe in someone else's filth so we had to clean/dust basic things and cleaned the ac filters ourselves(caked on) . The bath tub didn't drain well so cleaning the ac filters left gunk all over the tub. We ended up calling management for the slow drain. They were very propmt and showed up to fix it within 10 mins. Our unit has signs to not leave things on the beach and to not leave lights on for the turtles. Multiple other renters left tents on the beach and had very bright lights on all night, both horrible for the turtles. Management should be working to enforce this better. Twice we couldn't park because non guests were parked in our lot. They have signs saying they will tow if you don't have parking pass but we never saw that enforced. Lastly the outside trash cans/dumpster haven't been emptied in weeks it seems, so they are overflowing all over the ground. Really takes away from the feeling of the area. The view and walk to the beach is amazing though.”

“Cute, well-maintained cottages with friendly service & a great location on AMI. Just steps from the beach & a quick bike ride to anywhere in town! Walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbors from time to time - but it was pretty quiet in January. Comfortable beds & our upstairs unit had a nice small deck to hang out on!”

“826A South Bay Blvd. The house we rented was a 5 bedroom home right on the bay side of Anna Maria Island. This is our 3rd time here, and this house was by far our favorite. What a gorgeous view! We had our own private beach as well as our own swimming pool.The kitchen was well-appointed, so many different living areas to spread out in, and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice. All in all a 5 star location and accommodations.”

“I hesitate to share my review of this home on AMI as I don’t want the secret to get out! This was our second stay at Wine Down and we love this home. Well appointed interiors and outdoor spaces lend to a beautiful, comfortable home away from home. The master suite overlooks the pristine beach and gulf. Beds, bathrooms, furnishings are comfy and spacious. They maintain the property well which is often missing in rental homes. Best of all, you are 25 steps to a perfect sand beach and the lull of the ocean.”

“Just got back from a wonderful week on Anna Maria Island and a perfect stay at Beach View Retreat! The pics of the house really don't do it justice. Especially the outdoor pool area and the master suite on the top floor. Having two families staying in this house, space was the biggest concern, followed by the amenities and proximity to the beach. This house checks all of the boxes. Plenty of space in the kitchen to cook every meal should you want to, which we did. The dining table has plenty of seating but if you need more there are stools in the kitchen which are great for the kids! Bedrooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. We were also pleasantly surprised to find all of the necessary items for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc). That saved us lots of money since we didn't need to go buy them from a store. We definitely wont hesitate to book with AMI Locals in the future. The whole experience was wonderful. If you're contemplating where to book and with whom stop right now and trust all of the reviews you're reading. You won't be disappointed! Thanks again AMI Locals!!”

“This place is amazing. The house is so clean and has all you need for cooking ,grilling and being completely comfortable. Our first morning the pond between the house and the beach had one of the biggest blue herons I have ever seen with a line of egrets and other birds lined up around pond as if a morning greeting committee later that morning I heard an old familiar sound...of green parrots that I probably haven't heard at any beach in 20 years. To watch them and listen to them "grumbling" at each other was so fun. The manatees swam by us several afternoons. My granddaughters had never seen them that close before. We are having such a great time here. I highly recommend it to anyone. There's something to do for everyone here. The sunsets are beautiful!!!! And our trip has just begun. Cant wait to see what t hff e rest if this week brings! And I must not forget our host, Judi. She has been the best.”
