“Went to a store looking for men’s wallets and was directed here. Unfortunately, they said they carry wallets only during the holiday season. Fortunately, this menswear store was a hidden gem and so glad I went in. First of all, it’s been open almost 100 years and it’s a water front property, so beautiful. The salesmen (and owner) were so attentive and accommodating; even offering a cocktail while I shopped. They have such a fun, yet professional inventory. Suits, shoes, casual, golf, and athletic wear. I also believe they said they do in house alterations. Wonderful place and will definitely be back.”

“2017 Nov 3 -- Update. Unfortunately, this wonderful gallery is no longer in business. The owners retired. I will miss the gallery and the wonderful people who worked there! I have had seveal items framed at this gallery -- university degrees, precious and rare family photographs, fine art -- and each one has been done with extreme care and expertise. They take the time to discuss with you how you want your item presented, and come up with wonderfully artistic ideas. They know their stuff! They also have a wonderful selection of prints, maps, and other items for decorating your home. I found a wonderful map of St. Augustine there, and as it is my area of study as a historian, I had them frame it for me as a decoration for my office. It looks very Spanish! I highly recommend Dawson Gallery for their knowledge, expertise, courtesy, and artistic flair.”

“3 of us went to the original Metro Diner and enjoyed a nice lunch. The place was busy but our food came out hot and fairly promptly. I go to this diner occasionally and have really liked everything on the menu. Today was no exception. I had the Philly cheese steak which was really good but my only complaint was that the sandwich needed more cheese. Their cole slaw is a favorite of mine and it tasted fresh and crisp while still being creamy. I highly recommend the Metro Diner for locals and visitors alike.”
