“Hard to get to the museum. A small gem of a shop and I think some of what they sell is limited edition or seasonal items. The museum itself is small with several large artifacts outside, across from it. Until the new museum is built, you'll need to be escorted by someone who's authorized to gain access to it.”

“A must see if you are staying any where near the Navy Yard. Yes, you have to get vetted to enter the base, but you can download the form before you go and it is easy to fill out and once there takes less than 10 minutes to get clearance. The base is easy to walk, the museum is a must see, not big but filled with interesting Navy/Military items and even some Baseball memorabilia. The courtyards display some amazing artifacts, 16 inch gun, 26 inch amour plating from Japan.”
